That tree is called ONYINA,we the ashanties eat the leaves, boil the leaves and pour out the water and mix the leaves with okro/okra to prepare okra soup with salmon whatever.
I absolutely love the way you pronounce my mother's town. God bless your heart. Please continue your trip to Asato Village. I want to see how that has changed

Wow madam u make my day a happy one. My area oo gone are d days. I wish u trip to Ahamansu n papase too.all those areas are blessed with cocoa n some part of our natural resources. God has really blessed ghana but i dont no why we are rather d most poorest country in africa.i completed jhs in 1994 at Dodi_ papase R/C.Eeii i remember those days wen cityline was on service we can spend 5 days on d road when going to just Hohoe .
Wow!! It took 5 days to get to Hohoe, back then? You will be happy with the progress now. Even though it is very slow in Africa, you are right, Ghana and the whole of Africa shouldn’t be struggling so much with all the natural resources we are blessed with. But that is a story for another day. It is really beautiful up there. I shall remember to travel to Ahamansu and Papase on my next visit, God willing. Thank you.

I enjoyed the trip , Fantastic views ... I am glad you all can enjoy and explore the Ghana . The brown rice in that area is the best. It's good they know it's benefits, it helps to regulate blood sugar. Big thank you and God bless you.
You have a good point, Eileen. Just as well it’s recommended we thoroughly wash grains, vegetables or any food produce we buy before cooking it. The cooking process gets rid of any bacteria.
You're welcome; I make it a point to never miss your videos. You know what I got to thinking? I thought, what if you add the history of the people of the town or city you visit? Shedding light on how the people got to settle there? For example, us Ashantis have claimed ownership of the kente cloth; today you see it worldwide, even in international political circles but the kente did not originate in/from the Ashantis. Antother example - what is the root meaning of Jasikan? or Gyae sikaen or "Abandon the Knife" or warfare? People might be interested in knowing these things. Have a nice day
Ohh Wow!! Thank you so much for these very helpful suggestions. I shall bear your advice in mind. I’ve heard that about the Kente cloth. I was very surprised to learn that it didn’t originate from the Ashanti Region. You have a good knowledge and like me, I believe most people are interested in history. Stay blessed and once again, thank you for your support. ❤️
Please stop chewing cola nut is not good for the eyes. Jasikan is it the two they have two tongues language? The language in the evening is different from the one in the morning

I like the greens and the peace in these small towns and villages in Ghana! They look like Jamaica!
Most people do say parts of Ghana remind them of Jamaica. We are one and the same people. 🌍

Over speeding on Africa roads are dead trap.
Some of the roads are not proper made by driving
I agree 100%. Driving and being on the roads in Africa is like playing with a Russian Roulette.
No emergency services!
Where are you from? Are you guys Congolese?
Yes. 🇨🇩
@@MoniqueTchimanga
I love you all. I will be in the Congo soon. Next year!
