  • Hello Family!
    I trust all is well.
Here, myself, Mister and our friends are driving up for the day to beautiful Keta in the Volta Region of Ghana.
There is a stop at the colourful pottery shop and workshop with the view of a lake at the bottom of the garden.
We stumble across a derelict and abandoned Keta Lagoon Resort and tuck into delicious meals at the peaceful Aborigines Beach Resort.
    Enjoy the ride. x

That is the Keta lagoon, it’s different from the Volta lake. The Volta lake is fresh water lake formed after the Akosombo dam was built , the Keta lagoon is a natural salt water lake

I was told about the pot factory, will surely go there when I visit. Without dating myself, about 40 years plus ago I was on vacation for the first time in Keta, as we sitting at store front which was just a walking distance from the sea shore at about 5 or 6 pm , the biggest wave I have ever experienced came shore into and over the old road , flood the house and that was the beginning of the end for that house. That experience is forever etched in my memory. Culturally filthiness and indiscipline is not tolerated among Voltarians.
Oh my sister you are killing me small with the vegetable sauce, you can eat that with abolo and or the cassava parte you bought earlier in your trip, it's very delish !!!

Hello 👑Adelaide! It’s such a beautiful and clean place Keta. I wonder why the rest of Ghana is not sticking to the same simple rules. It’s a pity that most of the city is being swallowed by the sea. You might not recognise the places you visited before. Hehehe!! That Palava Sauce was real tasty! You should definitely visit the pottery along the way. There are bargains to be had.

Nice video! I enjoyed the tour. That abandoned resort is beautiful; that's a great investment for someone who wants to build a few guesthouses by or on the water. Beautiful town!

You are really exploring different places in Ghana. Palaver sauce is the chopped kontomire mixed with egusi. it is one of my favorite Ghanaian dishes. Thanks for sharing your trip with us.

Happy new week Sis! I trust all is well. Aww I thought they were two different sauces. It was tasty. I’m used to the Nigerian Egusi Soup. Stay blessed. 👑❤️

Monique it's a lake at this point where you are and a river heading towards north wards.
No plastic bags or whatsoever because the reasons behind this was the former president Rawlings did not allowed Voltarians along the lake shores not to be littering the water bodies. I think at Keta you could see for yourselves how clean the beaches are. Merci beaucoup et excellent journée a tous.🥰

Happy Sunday Hakeem! I hope all is well. Sorry, I’ve not yet had the chance to get round to it. I have not forgotten that promise. For your request, I need to locate a good tailor for menswear. Are you looking for Ghanaian custom made men’s fashion, Western fashion or a formal suit maker?

Hello Sefu! I hope all is well. Sorry you are not getting the information you need from my channel. Here, I’m sharing my own personal experience of moving and living in Ghana. The video I shared years ago was a current news event released by the Congolese Ministry of Migration at the time. I’m not an emigration or immigration specialist. As you mentioned, other people are sharing how to move to Europe on their channels. Their videos and your own research should give you an insight into the steps you should take for your move to europe. The information is there if you look closely, including of the Congolese community leaving Africa for Europe right now. I hope you get the info you need. God bless.

Pottery establishment is awesome and lots beautiful pots to see .
I was disappointed and frightened watching the woman using her bare hands to pick food before placing them in the dirty plastic bag. When is Ghana going to have an enforceable health regulations in place? I will rather starve to death than buying her food. This is not the things we should be doing in ghana in 2022 😏

The colours of the clay pots, aren’t they just beautiful? I could stay there the whole day.
About the street food, I was thinking the same thing. Especially handling money and serving.

That is unacceptable, many people die unnecessarily through the callousness of these street vendors. We can’t continue like this and expect tourists to come and tour and spend their money in Ghana. How much does a simple rubber glove cost ?🇬🇭
