@@KakatsitsiDrummers hi. Thanks for your reply. Yes of course, she's playing the bell. But is the clave a, son clave, a, rumba clave, or a different clave? Thanks
@@KakatsitsiDrummers That explains it perfectly. Please excuse my ignorance. I'm learning. It sounds like the clave used in Latin American music. A 3-2 son clave. Anyway, I bought a kpanlogo today. So I'll be on your channel for the rythyms. Many thanks.
@@KakatsitsiDrummers music is to Africa, what oil is the middle east. Africa gave us nearly all the rythyms we know here in the western world. And so much more. Thank you! Yes I believe it will be harder than the Djembe, but anything worth doing is usually not easy. So I'll relish it. I have a djembe, great fun, but basic. I also have congas, and bongos. Love them. But one can never have too many drums 😊 Hopefully one day I'll make it to, Ghana. Thanks for your replies.
I like this rhythm very much ❣
I learned to drum it by Nii Annan Odametey from Accra.
Nice performance, thank you...
Beautiful 👏🏽 Thanks for sharing. Sounds wonderful. I learned this dance and rhythm from Kofi Jantwa from Ghana. Tradition at its best❤️☀️💚
