I love this video this video inspires me as a djembefola. The positive vibes and drum connection with the drummers in this video. This rhythm sounds a lot like dundunba. I forget the name of this rhythm but this video is one of my all-time favorites with others that I love to watch. These videos keep me inspires to be creative and continue to always learn weather by watching drumming videos or from a experienced/ master drummer. I have been drumming since June 3rd 1984 mostly self taught and learned from my God dad and God uncles. Even through this social distancing mess I still drum outdoors when I have the chance and drum with other fellow drummers here in San Diego California. Love and respect to all of the Djembefola master drummers of Africa always.
@@drdjembe fura. What kind of ceremony is this rhythm for? What country are these brothas playing in? It sounded like dundunba when I listen to the brothas playing the different djembe accompaniments. That is one of my favorite rhythms I love listening to. I like both djembefola master drummers solo talk when sidiki and zoumana soloed.i was surprised that brotha man in the blue tank top didn't solo but he was totally gigging as well as all of the accompaniment drummers.
Soli is the ceremony of circumcision. Fura is played when drummers are "fighting". It's a 12/8 rhythm like dununba but here we are in Mali, different feel than guinea. The person with the blue t_shirt is Madou Fané actual solist of the national ballet of Mali. He did solo on another track.
@@drdjembe what are some other rhythms off of the recording that they did that is on UA-cam? I would love to listen to them. Is zoumana and sidiki from Mali as well?
It's amazing how many of these native drummers are on You Tube. Equally amazing is the fact that they all sound virtually the same.
ZUMANA DEMBéLé DE BOBO DIOULASSO 2ème SOLO JE RECONNAIS !!!
I just listened to that five times in a row. I play percussion and that is a stunner.
@@tiredyoshi8590 I play Djembe and seen a lot of players. That shit is bomb
