There are less adcs than toplaners. It's normal for adcs to have a high pickrate (though 40% is a fking lot even for an adc). That's why Jhin and Ezreal usually have 25%-30% pickrate.

He should have went ad and bought sundered/hydra. Akali is one of the few champions that can tap into both ad and ap damage. She just has to usually build a zhonya(although not always) and have a sheen item with it.

Size increasing is objectively bad for you if you dont have size scaling on your abilities like tahn kench Q, so I don’t think it’d be good for him. However, if they made his abilities scale with size that would make his hp scaling feel amazingly satisfying
