I was annoyed this wasn't a "brutal" version (wanted to see some imps on fire, setting other imps on fire) but I checked it out because of your comment and I must say, Damn straight! The mightiest of mook heroes!
Analysis, for those interested: Mancubus: Hit Points = 600 Fireball Damage = 8-64 (x6 Fireballs per volley, roughly 3 fireballs per second) lethality = ~36x3x1,000 = 108,000DPS Imp: Hit Points = 60 Fireball Damage = 3-24 (x1 Fireball per volley, roughly 2 fireballs per second) Lethality = ~13.5x2x10,000 = 270,000DPS You can quite quickly see that an army of Imps tenfold the size of the the Mancubus army should outclass them in damage, by a lot! However, the ranked march put the Imps at one hell of a disadvantage. Allowing only a little more than 100 Imps to make contact at a time, against an equivalent 100 Mancubi at a time. This forces the DPS discrepancy into an overwhelming 10,800 from the Mancubi against 2,700 from the Imps. Roughly, speaking. This might have been a fair fight if the Imps surrounded the Mancubus army on all sides, and I would much like to see how different the battle goes in such a case! I suspect it would be a very even match if the Imps were formed into 4 separate armies that flank the Mancubus Army on each cardinal direction (keeping the same 100 files/rank setup at each angle). That would just about balance the DPS from each side and make one hell of a battle!
Mancubus had advantage cause they had more wide position, try put the same wide to the imps, and will change the entire battle. Anyway, good job !! nice videos. PD: The las imp was our hero, he deserve to be in a museum.
You should consider placing the monsters in different positions. Instead of just 2 sides, I would think a battle of this magnitude you would split the Imps on both flanks of the mancubi, or even surrounding them (to give them a handicap to the higher damaging mancubus fire balls).
The Mancubi wrre goddamn fearsome creatures of Doom! I remember the moment I slipped into the second episode of Doom II and suddenly those fat slimeballs emerged
World of Madness, I've made a handful of suggestions and I like it that you listened to them and added them to your uploads as you could. I'm kind of an "ideas guy" so they come to me often. Anyway, it's very cool of you to do that.
You should do civil war battle reenactments with doom sprites but instead of Virginia it’s hell. Maybe Grant could be the cyber demon. What a stupid idea
The Imps fireballs were hitting each other and not getting through , the Mancubi did not have the same problem which means it was effectively 1000 Mancubi vs however many Imps covered their front line, probably a couple hundred at any given time If you lined up the Imps all side by side in a big circle surrounding the Mancubi then you would actually see 1000 vs 10000 Can you do another video with this please?
I think the Imps would have had a much better shot at winning in the first battle if the starting position was swapped. The Mancubi were able to eventually surround the Imps, ensuring their demise. If the imps were able to surround the Mancs…. mighta been a diff outcome!
There are so many monsters they create a ripple effect before the fight as you move, because of how the game changes the sprite it shows you depending on the relative angle.
I think we all want to know if "Last Imp" can defeat 1 Mancubus, when up against 1.000 Mancubus at that range. Is it possible? I see a new DOOM meme coming.
1st round: Once again the pathfinding is killing the larger groups. The imps didn't spread out AT ALL? What is this? Those mancubi on the side were basically doing Tower defense, shooting constantly while not being attacked by the imps walking right by them. This isn't a fight. This is a coding error. 2nd round: last guy almost got circle strafe + micro dodging going, but came close enough that he didn't have enough time to move aside. With a big enough arena and set to walk only around instread of towards, he could have done it... in principle.
I want to see this battle redone but brutal doom. I think the outcome will be radically in favor of the Mancubus. They're so much nastier in BD. EDIT: I assumed the imps would win without any issue, as they often do completely wipe the floor with everything they fight... Alrighty then! First time I assume the outcome I lose the bet, lol! Still wanna see it in BD. :D
That last Imp was a goddamn hero!
He flew too close to the sun.
12:05 - it took long enough for them to get him!
I'm sitll impressed he was 'lucky' in dodging so many of those spreadfire mac shots!
I was annoyed this wasn't a "brutal" version (wanted to see some imps on fire, setting other imps on fire) but I checked it out because of your comment and I must say, Damn straight! The mightiest of mook heroes!
R.I.P. Brave Imp!
That last imp obviously watched a youtube strategy guide before fighting.
That last Imp was literally parting the red sea. Hundreds of fireballs all moving around him like he had a damn forcefield up or something.
He figured out the algorithm
Accuracy is an optional extra.
I was *SO* rooting for that last Brown Spiky Guy... He was The Goat.
"Clutch or kick!"
Legend has it the mancubi respected that last imp enough to give him a heros burial, they just ate all the other ones...
Analysis, for those interested:
Mancubus:
Hit Points = 600
Fireball Damage = 8-64 (x6 Fireballs per volley, roughly 3 fireballs per second)
lethality = ~36x3x1,000 = 108,000DPS
Imp:
Hit Points = 60
Fireball Damage = 3-24 (x1 Fireball per volley, roughly 2 fireballs per second)
Lethality = ~13.5x2x10,000 = 270,000DPS

That last Imp saw the Matrix.
That was absolutely incredible! Thank you for that!
Thank you for watching!
That last imp plays Doom better than me indeed
I was like, what the hell are they still shooting at?! Made me laugh :D
Mancubus had advantage cause they had more wide position, try put the same wide to the imps, and will change the entire battle.
Anyway, good job !! nice videos.
PD: The las imp was our hero, he deserve to be in a museum.
I did notice that the video maker set the imps up for failure. LOL
IMPressive! xD

11:03 That slickly positioned imp fought to the end lol. Imagine trying to run this in 1994 on a 486, I reckon the battle would still be going today
Epic pincer maneuver
The Mancubi wrre goddamn fearsome creatures of Doom! I remember the moment I slipped into the second episode of Doom II and suddenly those fat slimeballs emerged
The last lmp was ready to fight against touhou character.
He was even grazing them right before the end.
Now we can have red vs blue teams in army form
Impressive win for the fat boys, that last imp gave it hell!
That lone imp surviving bullet hell.
Mancubi had a better formation
Thx! The amount of friendly fire was too much
Best nightclub I've ever seen
Respect for that last imp 🙏
I want a Doom RTS now.
That was amazing
World of Madness, I've made a handful of suggestions and I like it that you listened to them and added them to your uploads as you could. I'm kind of an "ideas guy" so they come to me often. Anyway, it's very cool of you to do that.
I am happy to fulfill my viewers' requests, but I don't have time to keep track of everything and remember everything, so you can remind me!
Like a Minecrafted rendition of "Armies of Darkness". Towards the end it looks as though the Mancubi are unleashing swarms of "lost souls"
That last imp didn't give a shit!
Guess fatsos are a hard counter for Imps lol.
Holy sht that was intense
11:20 -> Imp using TAS! 😁
Plot twist: Last imp was controlled by Zero Master
That was just Zero Master's PC playing imp for him to gather data. He'll post a speedrun soon of killing 1000 mancubuses with 1 imp.
That one imp at the end is The One avoiding fire like he's in The Matrix
I feel the fact that mancubus hit enemies outside their direct aim is significant.
** holds marshmallows on sticks between the two armies. **
I'd like to see you make an infighting scenario using Rampancy's enemies in the future.
I'ma smoke a blunt for that last Imp.
Like 🇧🇷 👍
Lets be honest here the only reason the last imp only died because he ran outta of mana.
First battle was Cannae. Second the World War 1
"Many of you will die, but that is a sacrifice I am prepared to make."
Last Imp definitely played Ikaruga on hard.
that's not fair..... they always fight each other even in the game!!!!!! not fair
You should do civil war battle reenactments with doom sprites but instead of Virginia it’s hell. Maybe Grant could be the cyber demon.
What a stupid idea
I like :)
It's a damn work of art
That last imp was a the Main Character
more than nuts
Красная река просто прекрасна

Can you do another video with this please?
Well, for now there is no need to repeat it, maybe I will do it in the future.

The Mancubi mowed the imps like a lawn on the first battle.
THEY SURROUNDED the imps in the first battle.
The second battle*
DOOOOOOOM 64 MUSIC!!!!🎉😈💀☠️❤
Seems like it’s mostly infighting deaths on both sides lol
Can't be - neither of these kinds of monster is capable of harming others of its kind.
@@drachefly really? Didn’t know that. That’s good cause most of them are just fireballing the backs of the one in front them.
@@woo1818 That's exactly why they have exception in the code that projectiles of their own kind will not hurt them :)
Last imp been playing okuplok
I think we all want to know if "Last Imp" can defeat 1 Mancubus, when up against 1.000 Mancubus at that range. Is it possible? I see a new DOOM meme coming.
I wonder how it would turn out if friendly fire did not happen
1st round: Once again the pathfinding is killing the larger groups. The imps didn't spread out AT ALL? What is this? Those mancubi on the side were basically doing Tower defense, shooting constantly while not being attacked by the imps walking right by them.

It looks almost like a land mass being formed, water gradually wearing through rock?
Unfair
Idea for future clips show us the games logic as this is happening i can't imagine the amount of scripting it's doing to render this.
Can anyone tell me how this is actually done?
Is this possible to run with an average PC setup?
James Bondage the imp
Would 500 mancubi kill 10000 imps? Or how many mancubi can 10000 imps defeat?
wait, on nightmare wouldn't the monsters just respawn?
I disabled this option ;)
Mancubus wanna Moe and won a cow.
Would it kill the computer if you tried chellos voxels with this? I would like to see lol

Still wanna see it in BD. :D

Wingcommander OST?
DOOM 64 OST
so many balls
what is the name of the song?
DOOM 64 - main theme
Адин имп под конец затактикулил
I just see a whole lot of friendly fire
11:23 Neo undercover
Is this WarCraft2 music in the background? Almost...
