I agree about the lume on paging watches,I also agree about the strap,I think pagini owners wouldn’t mind paying extra for the lume and straps as they are great watches and it’s the only thing that lets them down,I have 3 of their watches maybe a 4th now lol their awesome great value,

Got this peace in silver-rose gold version from my wife as a birthday present - god, she knows how to pick some good watches. The left sub dial counts the minutes elapsed when the chronograph second hand is running. Pressing the lower pusher resets it back to zero (60). Regards, #WR4K
This is one of the mosts beautiful watches I've ever seen. Absurd quality for money. I own one, the rose gold version (even though I'm not fond of golden watches) and it is absolutely stunning. Even though Pagani can't take credit for the original design, it's incredible what they deliver in this price range.
Just ordered one aswell as batman pd1662 jubilee. I have a collection of big brand and microbrand watches and these really catch my attention. May order the standard aqaua terra homage too which has the Seiko automatic movement. Will see when these arrive. I will be buying the actual aqua Terra soon also.

I own the black version; it's a great looking piece, very well built, considering its price. The only thing that bothers me is the center end link; it looks like an "open mouth" when you look at it closely. I know they did it this way to have a female end link, which is always a good idea for a better fit on relatively large watches. But I think they just didn't get it right.

Pagani is making some nice pieces that are good values. It also seems their quality improves incrementally, as the market demands. A 2-side AR coated sapphire is worth another $8-$10.
The one element of the watch which bothers me a good deal is the lack of indexing on the minute chrono register. I find it a little frustrating and less usable as a chronograph.

The s/s bracelet would be too big for my wrist unfortunately, but it may look good on a rubber or sail cloth or leather strap. My irk with that though, is unless the strap perfectly fits to the edge of the side of the dial, the side of some watches are not finished well or scraped from the original metal bracelet. Sounds picky I know, but I just enjoy my watches to look as aesthetically pleasing as possible ❤ thank you. 😊
I'm a little disappointed you forgot your champagne this time ;) . But it looks like the Pagani Chronograph department has won the 2021 award over the mechanical department. Not only in price but in finishing and attention to details too.
Its amazing what they can do with 70 euro. Imagine one day if they come out with their own design and sell at this price point. They are going to stir the budget watch world.
Bought a Pagani Design 'Bat Man' homage watch about 18 months ago. Nothing lined up on the dial , the bracelet was cheap and nasty too. Had it back for re-sale on line within an hour, lost a lot of money. The new one doesn't look bad but, I'll steer clear of buying another PD.
Why? I also have a 6 inch wrist. And if PD-1664 Daytona fits well then this one will too. Both have similar proportions. I am considering them to buy at upcoming sale.
White date wheel wrecks it for me. I'd buy one if they'd either just leave the date window out or color match it. Another thing they could do to improve the date window is to make it circular and properly orientate the numerals. I'd gladly pay a bit more for those refinements.
I have ordered one before seeing this review. It is a beautiful watch, completely ruined by the absolutely fecked up lume. Minute hand disappears into nothingness, hour hand isn't much better. The lumed secondary dials aren't helping either. Why, Pagani, why?? Should have used the wasted lume on the small hands on the minute hand and it would have been a useable watch. But unfortunately, in the current incarnation, this is one of the biggest disappointments in the Pagani lineup.
Just got mine. I'm disappointed. The case lugs are very sharp on the bottom edges. The bracelet is garbage, I don't think it's 316 steel, the end links are poorly shaped, the center links look like plated alloy and is easily scratched, easily dented. The watch looks good at 4 feet. Don't take it off and pass it for inspection to your buddies. It weighs less than my 90's vintage tissot quartz "ring".
@John Lee - I just bought this watch and have similar thoughts. The case is visually stunning at this price point, but the bracelet is super cheap and feels like plastic. The case lugs are extremely sharp at the bottom. I like to feel the weight of the watch on my wrist and this doesn't do it.
