Cinematic Lighting for a Round Table Interview - Job Shadow

Today, we're going behind the scenes on how we shot this Round Table Series for Sportsnet.
We're back with a recent commercial project with Sportsnet, where we had to shoot multi-cam with 5 different cameras. We wanted to showcase how we approached this televised spot that had 4 people talking in a confined space. This was for Sportsnet, and we we're tasked with shooting a eating scene, and light it similar to Lebron's barbershop aesthetic. I have done a lot of these shoots in the past, and the use of tube lights amazes me. I have some for backlights and accents, but I have never trusted them as a key light. You don't have to worry about menace arm, lack of space and weight.

We love the tubes. The space was pretty limited with short ceiling and narrow hallways, we just wanted to keep it tight with easy control through the app.

Everyone was lav’d, and there was an extra boom/ shotgun. We hired a pro sound recordist for this as we don’t like to deal with audio on projects!

Hey Jarryd, it can cost anywhere from $8000-30000 in expenses. Really just ranges on the project scale
