In July 1999, Toyota began production of the seventh-generation Celica, with European sales beginning late that year. It closely resembled the XYR concept with the exception of the front bumper and rear spoiler, while omitting the previously available coupe body style. The 2000 model year Celica was an element of Toyota Project Genesis, an effort to bring younger buyers to the marque in the United States. Toyota took time to lighten the car and lower cost wherever possible. Power window and door lock controls were placed in the center console so only 1 set was necessary for both doors. Initial sunroofs were made of polymer plastic instead of the traditional glass. This generation was assembled by Kanto Auto Works at its Higashi-Fuji plant in Susono, Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan.

I think there are spacers included but let me check it out and ask the owner, I don't recall the specs myself other than they are 18'.

I blew my engine about 2 month ago and yesterday my new engine was shipped now I have to wait till October 5th to receive it. Don’t over rev these cars when stock. I only had a invidia exhaust and that’s just about it & I revved it too much cuz I got addicted to the pops💥 & one day after work it just blew from the bottom and sprayed oil everywhere💀

What is a celica t23 ?
Just a chassis code, short for ZZT230. The ZZT230 (T23) is the model with the 1ZZ-FE (VVTi) engine, the ZZT231 are the ones with the 2ZZ-GE (VVTLi) engine.
That's how it is where I live, not sure if it's slightly different in japan or america.

Funny enough, eu version of 1ZZFE has 6 manual transmission, only US has 5
thats a real unicorn nowadays. would cost way more than the actual value of a celica just to get one of those in decent condition, to the point where you could get plenty of better car options
@@rzt430I was completely sold with the Celica, to the point where I’ve spent way more than its resale value. I could’ve got a 370z or an MRS with a 2zz swap or even an s2k, but I didn’t like how those cars looked. 370z not nearly as nimble with no high-revving motor. MRS is just butt ugly, and s2k is not as practical nor pretty as the 7 gen Celica. Personal preference really. Too me, the 2zz Celica is like a much cooler dc2 type r. It just need the right tune/mods.
@@celile8279 ive spent twice the resale value to fix up my 1zz gt celica to a reliable condition as a daily, and im even wondering if i should do a 2zz swap on it for ~6-8k usd(for a 1.5k usd car) instead of buying a new car once the 1zz fails me(its at 209k miles). i would love to buy another celica if they weren't mostly clapped out and sketchy, for some reason these things got treated worse than 350zs by their owners. buying a gts in a clean condition nowadays will cost 5x as much as that, nearly the cost of a brand new 2023 car. i love the car to bits but i wish i had enough money to think like you do x)

This is the 7th gen celica (year 1999-2006)
It's the facelifted model, so it should be from somewhere between 2003 and 2006.

You know that T23 is referring to a chassis? 7th gen celica (this one in video) is T230 or T23, 6th gen celica is T200 or T20, 5th gen is T180 or T18...
@@srdjanmatic7099 Hi Srdjan, looking at the engine it's a 140 bhp, I had one but now I have the GEN 7 190 bhp version (yamaha engine) which is a T230. The one in the picture is the Toyota
@@markwatson6568 both 140 and 190 are T230. The 140bhp has the 1ZZ-FE VVT-I engine, the 190bhp version has the 2ZZ-GE VVTL-I engine. But both T230 chassis.
