@@mcn2975 I remembere hearing it come from loud speakers in my elementary school, I think every teacher that agreed to let it play thought it was just a children's song (it played at a time where all students were told to go to a gym to demonstrate dances and stuff, but the song was just used as a waiting song, so basically every student sang to it, and the teachers were panicking, because of the words "dumb ways to die, so many dumb ways to die"). I'd say it was the best time of 3rd grade, me and my friends were laughing our asses off.

Hausu is one of the most insane and fucking bizarre movies I've ever seen. Excellent stuff. So much fun. Also, that little piano piece was later sampled in 'Welcome to the Black Parade'.

When the screen goes dark when Mark is in his room there's a pair of white eyes that appear by his webcam, soiled myself when I saw it
After watching this a few time I realized something. In order to not die you have to observe little changes in your environment down to minute details like the dad’s photo disappearing or the spike rug that wasn’t there before, I think that’s cool
27:43 i think that's a nod to Courage the Cowardly dog: there's an episode where he goes to a building and every door he tries shows a monster or something horrifying except for one where he finds a girl playing the piano; Courage looks relieved for a moment and then the girl turns around and her face is monstrous in a similar manner to this girl.
