Then Gen Z inherited a good sense of humor - that is absurdist Boomer-era material. Reminds me of Terry Gilliam's animations for Monty Python projects. (I'm Gen X myself, but I love that stuff.)

8:32 Jerry Nelson cameo. He'd go on to perform the Count and Herry Monster in Sesame Street and Gobo, Marjory the Trash Heap and Pa Gorg in Fraggle Rock. And Floyd Pepper, and Camilla the Chicken! To name just a few of the probably hundreds of Muppet characters he performed over the years.
I think the little girl may be his daughter Christine, who would later lose a brave battle with cystic fibrosis.

So did Jim Henson do the voices for all the puppets, while only performing one at a time? Because it would be impossible for him to perform them all at the same time, yet they all sound like him.
He prerecorded the vocals, and then he and others lip synched the puppets to the vocal tracks.
