n every interview you also understand how humble he is, even if he knows he has learned a lot; but when he plays, especially with his friends, he is in an ecstasy of joy. He no longer cares about his skill, he just wants to enjoy the music.
After hearing and watching Matteo I can't feel the same excitement when hearing my top ten Guitarists play as I do with this young Sicilian. Matteo brings a whole new dimension ~ and continuous Goose Bumps ! What an amazing player he is. 🎸🎸
I've watched Matteo go from one of the many uber talented social media guitarists, to the most exciting player on earth. Everything about Matteo just blows me away, but most importantly the writing, phrasing and soul in his playing (things so many of the other young guns lack). Looking forward to watching him play for the rest of my life.
Mancuso is super, but certainly not the only innovative one as you suggest. Mateo Asato is hard to imitate, Tosin Abasi is quite innovative, Tim Henson of Polyphia has an interesting technique not seen before - just to name a few. You should indeed be glad you are not a guitar player
I’ll be honest I never heard of Matteo it was his Revstar that caught my attention personally the very best guitar I’ve ever owned that aside his playing is amazing and very inspirational
GUITAR GOD from Which Planet did you land on Earth, the Guitars are Made in Which Planet ? its high time you tell the HUMAN beings the truth , you just cant be HUMAN , what a wonderful Being ty jay
At around 2:39, Mancuso performs a bend without a vibrato which clearly does not match the sound track - which has him performing a vibrato. As a matter of fact, the run from 2:36 to 2:40 is clearly not what is being put out in the sound file. What is this weirdness? Hmmm...
Hey, it's a regular "punch-in" for that one note. This is something you see and hear everywhere, you just don't always notice it. :) He wasn't happy with his vibrato on that note so he asked if he can re-record it after he played his full performance. So he went in the room and played that 1-2 seconds again which causes the video - audio mismatch. Well spotted. 👌 TBH any other guitar player would've needed a 100 tries to record 100 little snippets to then puzzle this tune together in the studio. 😆 He's a perfectionist and wanted to replace that bend, which was perfectly fine for us honestly. Matteo's hearing and expectations are on another level compared to us regular humans, haha! //Kris

Great music. Great talented musician. Hoping to see much more and many years from you. Guitar is in good hands.
I'm glad I'm not a guitar player. 👾🔫 Mancuso is probably the only innovative guitar player today. And of course one of the top ones.

Great musicianship. Why does this channel increase my enjoyment of music so much?!?!
I'm not sure why but we're really glad it does. 😆 Having such amazing players as guests definitely helps, haha! Thanks a lot! 💛
//Kris
I hear a bit of Alan Holdsworth influence in his playing, he is flawless and brilliant sounding indeed. A true talent.
Absolutely, there's quite a bit of Holdsworth in there. And Guthrie and Meola. Matteo is incredible. Thanks for watching, buddy! //Kris
Wonderful and devastating all at once 😂
