You'll never regret it. I bought a Revstar Pro (made in Japan... the Standard is made in Indonesia, but Yamaha's QC is still tops in that shop) and now smirk at the price of the Les Pauls and SGs as Yamaha is now on level ground or better with quality build, tone and playability. I also ordered an SA2200, Yamaha's version of the 335, and the sales guy put me in a room with a rack of genuine 335's right beside me to try it out. I played the SA for a while then switched to a very expensive 335. They were equal in playability, but the 335 was 2 1/2 times the price, and Gibson's QC is not what is used to be. The decision was easy.

Only ever seen G and F on these shows.
Well done Lee with the lovely playing yourself. I really admire you for being able to do that.
Great interview, monster player. Kudos to Lee for following Matteo in the jam!
No matter if Matteo is playing a single note, a bunch of notes, a lick or a full song... 'coz... each note is so beautifully implemented and delivered that it's a pleasure!
AND his musical vocabulary is so big and wide that covers the entire history of electric guitar music regardless of genre.
Well... I'm writing from Palermo-Sicily... so maybe I'm just a bit biased about our Matteo! 😁
Love the loyalty to his Yamaha
Can we all appreciate what a nice contrast was to hear Lee soloing over Matteo's chords? Both very different vibes but very tasty licks there!
Omg he is a very inspirational player and totally unique. Thanks for sharing Captain 🧑✈️
🔥🔥🔥Amazing interview of a amazing guy!
You did well! Complicated to find The good questions but you find out ;) delightful interview and Matteo ... equals to himself only
🙏🙏🙏
Matteo Mancuso, the MAN, the LEGEND !!!
The future of guitar is in good hands... What a player... and Matteo plays nice too ( :
Hats off to the Captain, especially for the jam….Great stuff!
Dude melts faces!
Matteo and Alex Hutchings together would be a melodic marvel🎸🤘🏻
Would LOVE to see this!
I'd prefer with Govan
@@GonnyParson And there’s the rub, I don’t find Guthrie that melodic, I can only take so much of his playing before I get bored of it, whereas Alex has much more of a melodic jazz background.
@@fusionfan6883 Oh ok. Got it.
It was amazing to see Matteo months ago here in Bakersfield. Excited to hear a second album. So much talent.
Great interview and holding your own there Captain. Respect👊🍺
Great interview, Lee. You let the conversation breathe.
Matteo is terrific. And congrats to Lee for sticking it, and not backing up into the hedge and disappearing like Homer Simpson.
well, that was freaking ridiculous! What a Talent! Amazing! Thank you guys!
There are no words that are justice enough to describe Matteo's technique, sound, notes, playing style and so on, it is on a level beyond limit !
Lee love your responses, I felt the same and I wasn't in the room. Thank you for the post! All of them :)
What an absolutely top chap, and doing all this in a second language is just showing off lol.
Great interviewee.
Very humble for such a ridiculously talented human.
Amazing interview! Lee, your playing sounded great too!
Cool jam!! Great interview
Truly amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's the tone, clarity and separation of each note along with the insane speed of delivery that makes Matteo such a very special player...he's like an electric Julian Bream on steroids..!!.
a very beautiful interview! grazie capitano!!
Yamaha need to make that Revstar available
Hey captain great job with rhythm support 👍👍
Unbelievable, so good, so entertaining. Thanks for sharing your art with us Matteo.
Fantastic interview Captain, great job. Thanks
You can really see the eric johnson influence during the jam, absolutely killer playing and tone, yamaha really need to step up and get this man whatever he wants and make some signatures
As lovable as any guitarist who whatches him play, starts laughing at how absurd his technique actually is. Incredible ❤
Great interview, a very unique finger guitar player that should be mentioned as well is Stanley Jordan who plays the guitar like a piano. He was also very popular when he first came out with his unique style.
All hail the Captain 💪🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
I'd be happy if I could play like The Captain. That was a fun jam. Great video.
”Am i really going??!!😂”
I swear i laughed out loud haha. Kudos to Lee, balls of steel going on after Mancuso’s shred 👏
I want a Pacifica now! Yamaha is so underrated. I have stereo components that I love. Time for a Yamaha in the collection. 🤟👍
Yamaha Motor Company makes the dirt bikes. Yamaha Corporation makes the instruments. They haven't been the same company since before Buddy Holly died.
Talking about gear, it is interesting to see so many young and gifted artists using modern guitars instead of vintage (or vintage inspired) guitars.
I always watch till the very end don~t want to miss anything each of you can teach me
Video bellissimo complimenti 🎸💥🤟🎶grande Mancuso. 🎉
@17:49 Demonstrates a problem playing 'Technical Difficulties by Paul Gilbert'.
having a Helix or any plugin amps/cabs give you a very good idea of what you may want if you ever buy hardware. They have also given me a very good understanding of FX and the use between the devices.
I "discovered" Matteo about 6 years ago in a SNIPS UA-cam video and I hoped he would ultimately get the attention he's now receiving. Remarkable and unique talent.
Holy shit!! He made Lee swear on cam! If that's not a testament to how good he is, I don't know what is.
How can anyone say this guy is better than Ed sheeran? He doesn't even have his name on a giant oversized looper.
Matteo, you rock mate, you will rule the world one day 🎉
Simply awesome!
He is a ridiculous talent. Captain is stunned :)
Great interview, very inspiring guys, good work, Winning!!!
Grandissimo Matteo Mancuso👏👏👏👏. Sei entrato nell'olimpo dei" grandi " wow con Joe Bonamassa...ORGOGLIO ITALIANO
This lad really has taken the instrument to the next level.
Wow, I will watch out for him.
