Trouba is a machine. The way he steps up to hits is so smooth. His skating is so good for a big body
Its only because players are puzzy, if someone do this to my teammate im making sure he cant walk for next few months
I love how it starts with a boarding call from mcdavid
coming from a Devils fan. Trouba is a master of massive yet clean hits. honestly an art form almost lost in today's game of hockey.
Alot of the hits that you see here, are examples of players either thinking they will not be the target of big hits or they do not know how to prepare for one. Therefore, the big hits look even more dramatic when they have no idea about receiving or delivering contact. The result is a flopping ragdoll effect.
I dont disagree. As a Devils fan I am giving props to Trouba. I didn't say anything negative in my comment. lol.@@michaelmaira1515
NHL ATHLETES are just otherworldly in terms of toughness 😤
@@zhoporezzany nhl player would flatline any wrestler on the ice, any wrestler would bully any nhl player on the mat, can’t compare two sports
@@zhoporezzDid you? No where in that did he say that wrestlers weren’t tough too? All he was saying is that hockey players are tough asf, what was the need of bringing up wrestling?
after that johnson's incident, 3:25 is really really scary.
not really considering the johnson one was obviously malicious as u can see he lifts his leg up to his neck
that hit on gudas got me so hyped up when that game was on
1:01 that ovechkin hit definitely made a meme
1:38 "It looked inadvertant!"
I love your commentary, Lapanta, but this wasn't your finest work lmao
I think he was expecting to get hit so he gave a reverse hit in anticipation for a hit that was never coming. Either way inadvertent is not the correct word
The NHL needs to do something about the fact that play stops after every single big hit. It's part of the game, if your guy has his head down the whole way down the ice or isn't looking where he's going and takes a shoulder to the chest, then he shoulda known better. I've taken a few smacks in my day and it feels how youd imagine getting hit by a truck would feel but these guys are professionals, let them give a hit and not be jumped immediately.
Can’t do anything about it sticking up for ur teammates is part of the game u lay the hit u answer the bell that’s how it’s always been but I agree then clean big hits no need for fighting afterwards take the hit if it’s clean it’s part of the game
@@jackmcbride430 yeah if its a dirty hit or god forbid he hits your goalie then absolutely jump him but yeah clean hits are clean hits best way to get em back is to lay a good hit back or score
Teammates are more willing to step up for their team these days.
Yeah for a game that’s constantly moving it’s weird that they stop the play for big hits
Can you imagine ANY NBA player out on the ice?
Wouldn’t last 20 seconds without suffering a “career ending” injury haha
first 2 are most dangerous though
0:55 THE REF?!
This is literally the Jacob Trouba hit compilation
Toughest athletes on the planet. Idc what anybody says. Dudes play at an extremely fast speed, on the hardest surface you can possibly play on while skating on razor sharp blades that can (and occasionaly DOES) slice you wide open. I can literally FEEL the hurt when I see a big hockey hit... I don't get that same feeling when I see a big football hit. Most underrated and criminially underappreciated sport of all time. The level of skill (and balls) that this game takes is insane.
the bias is insane but i see your points for sure
Gudas got the biggest level of karma LOL
Watching the cats crumble to a team that out gooned them was hilarious.
Big hits are the best defense, change my mind.
I don't get it why they left their players carry the puch all the way to goal instrad hitting them first, clean hits
1:12 saw that coming from a mile away. dont try to take that shit up the middle the defense will shut you down immediately.
Videos like these is why Nelly wrote "Here Comes The Boom"
a few big hits and then trouba time
Jynxzi's favorite video
Keep ya head up......
The title to the video is crazy
I love watching Kadri get his big mouth shut.
Ref broke his leg 0:56
If I was in the NHL playing against the rangers I would dump it in every time. I wouldn’t want to get mauled by a brick wall.
Dude I need to know if the ref's leg got cut after that guy's skate basically slashed right into his leg @ 0:56
ong bro I saw the exact play and thought the same
Those devils unis are legit. I still hate their guts though
That kraken hit was the best hit if seen in the episode
back pedaling too, buddy wasn't going down without hitting that man
Love it
Ovechkin the chiropractor 1:05
“Watch yo tone”
1:28 is pure bull-ish. The Jet didn't even have the puck.
I love how half the hits are by turba
more like they keep getting more legal
so basically this is just a jacob trouba highlight reel
hate the rangers but love watching trouba hit
The third one is slashing
idk y they aint sticking up for their tem8s most of the time
This is 40% the rangers defenseman trouba miller schneider lindgren
1:30 beauty of a hit, a real shame they killed the play when the wild were gaining the upper hand.
I’m not a Wild fan but honestly I wouldn’t mind watching them get a cup or two
Honestly interference but would have been nice if they let the play go
How is that a clean hit? Ehlers has nothing to do with the puck there you’re a clown lmao
@@thomaslane9138he just hit him with a reversal, he would've gotten hurt otherwise.
Another big hit: On June 7th, 2003, Scott Stevens gave Paul Kariya a big hit. The good thing is that Paul got back in the game a few minutes later. And then another few minutes later, Paul scored a incredible goal.
Wow these are considered big hits …. In 5 years it will
Be flag hockey
0:11 wasnt a hit just a slew foot
I hate the rangers but love trouba that's how hockey should be.
If you’re starting a fight and stopping play cause your teammate got drilled you should be thrown out of the game
Me fr
Jesus Christ gudas destroyed that guy
Most of these are not good hits, they’re dirty and dangerous hits.
Dirty hits by Trouba comp
I really hate that Hartman got a major penalty for that hit on Ehlers. He had every reason to believe Ehlers was gonna put the body on him to some degree, he had every right to lay that reverse check.
Maybe NHL needs NFL equipment. Lots of players getting hurt with "clean" hits that have no real purpose except showing off, cause pain, intimidation or revenge. Most hits are after the puck is released, or sometimes before it's even touched.
One thing you'll never see, is Trouba hitting a guy who is expecting it. He's always looking for the guy who's already busy/focused on an upcoming play.
Keep your head up. Yes. We all know that. But searching for guys to hit who aren't expecting it, doesn't make you a tough guy. Imho.
I dont get why this is a big hit compliation with most of these being penalties....thats not a hit, thats a penalty. A hit is something clean
Why would you put cheap shots and penalties in a hits compilation. 🚽
Baby Bird Bedard got rocked by Brendan Smith last night....little boys better keep their heads on a swivel...or it’s gonna be a rough rest of the season
How does Trouba not get suspended!?
his hits are clean
@@FN32DXer Clean? Sure. Looking for the guy who's unprepared? Absolutely.
1:52 lOl
Boooooo no LA Kings hit on Stone? Buulllllshit.
