Massive Overhaul Update Makes This Game Go Crazy Now!

Today we check out a huge update to TrackDayR. There are menu changes, customization added, new bikes, new tracks, new rider model, and a big improvement update to physics.

TrackDayR is a game fully committed to offering the maximum realism available, but that can also be enjoyed with a simple controller and without frustration. TDR isn’t an arcade game, which means that you will make some mistakes. Late braking, a wobble, an unwanted wheelie, one too much skid will ruin your lap. Thanks to a learning curve within anyone’s reach, the more you will race the more you will learn your limits and become a better rider with each lap. TrackDayR is meant to be a simulative experience, but also something to have lots of fun with!

I have seen plenty Early Access games through the years and honestly I can count with one hand the games that evolved beyond alpha stage and became really good games. Of course in this case the bar is not particularly high, we are talking about Milestone after all, but I would not hold my breath just yet.

I always wanted to play this but it always bothered me how long the arms of the rider were amongst some other things, looks like they have improved the game so much, might be time to give this a try

They’re doing absolutely fantastic things with this game, I wish them nothing but the best. I do wonder if the street bike side of things will ever limit/ damage their progress with getting the moto side down if it’s mostly the same physics engine, but if not, hopefully it just keeps improving more and more

If anything, the moto and road sides have complimented each other very well in regards to "learning new things," in regards to development of the physics. There's been a lot of stuff learned while designing the MX side that has then been applied to the road bikes to make them better and vice versa.

The mods are for tracks and bikes, its good cause of the physics, legends is great for a sit down casual game but if you want the bike to handle like it would in real life then mx bikes is the way to go, and mx sim is considered one of the best if not the best and its been modded just as much as mx bikes, reflex is another good example, just cause a game has a ton of mods doesnt mean the base game isnt good or cant be a great game

@theyRnothappy but there's no other game relevant.... track day r is so wonky and needs a ton of work, mx simulator is old as dirt and way behind mx bikes in every department, other than that theres no other mx games worth a crap. And modders don't need another mx game to save. Mx bikes is that game. Until someone comes out with a fully polished game that can rival mx bikes in all departments and not need modded to the teeth there is no debate... (modded) mx bikes does everything better in the sim bike world than any other game. It dont matter if a game is modded or not because people are willing to mod it to get the best game...

@joshstringer8181 mx sim is far from good physics wise. It's floaty, stiff, 1 rider stick still I believe, it's basically been abandoned as well, and all the bikes are the exact same in each class
