It's fun to see Yoyo looking for something!
My Alexandrine parrot flies to its perch on the upper cage and flies into my hand. It only relies on these 2 points to fly, as it feels safe in its cage or in the hand. Should I work with him in another room without a cage? Or should I take his cage out of the room and work that way? Or should I keep his cage in the room and in a stable place and continue to gain his trust? I'm asking these questions because I see you playing with him at a table. For my parrot it is impossible to take it to the table, it just stands on the hand or flies onto the cage. So we can't play with coconut shells for now.
Note: He is about 7 months old and has been living with us for 3 months.

Yes. Introduce new room to him.
While he is on ur hand ,walk around to other rooms too. Yes.
If the surface is clean you can maybe give him some treat there so he can eat it there but careful that he doesn’t get used to eating food elsewhere as there will be lot of mess 😄 as birds love to move things around and eat them wherever they like.
