He did talk about the health care by saying NHS. Why do Americans have to be told something three times before they hear it?

What he should have said is "on average American police kill more civilians in one month, than British police do in 100 years".(52 between 1900 and 2000).
Better to adjust for population differences though.
So far this year there have been 450 deaths in the US caused by Police. This number includes both justified and wrongful deaths.
The US has on average, a population that is 5.02 times higher than the UK.
So, if deaths involving the police were at a similar rate in both countries, we would expect there to have been around 90 deaths caused by Police in the UK (again, both justified and wrongful) in the same period of time.
Instead there has been 1

This means that there has been a higher proportion of deaths in the US caused by the police in 4 months and 16 days than in the UK for the last 32 years.
What he means by complaining is that we do it far more sucessfully. We don't stand in shops and scream at people and demand to see the manager or want the number for corporate. We will put forward a measured and factual account of our complaint either by letter or email. We will cc. the CEO of the company so it gets pasted down to be dealt with. Being a Karen only shows you to be a moron, gets you nowhere and psses people off. Putting your case firmly but politely is much more likely to acheive a favourable outcome.
Pay As You Earn (PAYE) is a brilliant system. The Government tax office (His Majesty's Revnue and Customs - HMRC) works out your entitlements to tax free income and based on your salary tell your employer your "tax code". The employer from this and your wages works out how much tax you need to pay over a whole tax year, then every month deducts one twelfth of your wages and passes it to the government. At the end of the year the tax you have paid exactly balances the tax you need to pay. If you get a pay rise, everything is adjusted for future payments, and if the Goverment changes the tax rates then your tax code is changed. Many people never have to fill any tax forms out for the whole of their working lives, and therefore never need to employ an accountant. The system also applies after you retire so that the correct tax is paid on your pension.
The USA invented milatary internet but Tim Berners Lee invented the World Wid Web which we all use today and he was British.
