would love to see this as a small series but after every episode the color pallets and build styles are either changed or the ones used just get removed but all are built along the same pathway so that it looks like a strange neighborhood
She could make a whole village/town of wheel spin houses. And it wouldn’t have to be just houses either! It could be markets and parks and things like that.
Okay but how is this one of the coolest builds I’ve ever seen?! I think the baroque style really ties together the grand and mysterious “alien” vibe. Great work Gem!
I think the alien trees really complimented the baroque purple vibe (and that baroque was probably the style that would work best with purple in the first place). Gorgeous build!
Though technically not labeled as such, blue and light blue terracotta are some gorgeous Blurples and my favorites to build with in game! Anyhow I have absolutely no idea how you managed to make so many warm purples work with those few cool purples we have in game!! Fantastic job Gem!
As a hard of hearing viewer, thank you for the captions!!! Also this build came out so so cool and I would kill to see the interior done in the future! Especially loved the alien trees :0
this is so cool! i’d love to see a video dedicated to the interior :) it’d also be cool if you bonemealed the ground around the mansion, so it has a little more life ^^ the little sprouts you find in the warped forest biomes in the nether could look cool!
The bright purple made it look weird (in a good way) and stand out more than I would have expected, and the alien trees made it fit more with it surroundings. Great job! Would love to see an interior in the future!
i really love this type of video!! it's so cool seeing you flex your creativity without having a plan in place first. it kind of reminds me of the "roll for ___" tiktok trend, but instead of ingredients (or blocks since it's minecraft), it's concepts! i hope to see more of these
Adding dimension hopper Gem lore to this, because a striaght up creative mode building video is surprisingly inspiring. Gem's Homeworld is in fact a world between worlds, where things can easily slip between the cracks from others and wind up there. Which is great because being an "in between" place, its pretty empty (usually either super flat, or an endless void with a few islands here and there). Its also great because the very nature of this world allows its residents to slip through those cracks themselves and travel around to other dimensions. Those residents can then come back from their adventures and fill the void with their magnificent creations and stories, so its just a bit less empty.
That looks amazing Gem! You worked really well with the wheel’s decision. To be honest I was really hoping for a hedge maze, but honestly, it still looks great.
This turned out really well. And I'm sure if Baroque architects had access to purple wood and bricks you'd have seen a lot more purple Baroque mansions. (though maybe that's leaning more rococo? Not sure.)
The purple really makes this feel like a mysterious alien/villain mansion. Everything ties together nicely looking coherent while still being just a smidge uncanny. Great job, here's hoping for the interior!
The purple is strange yet beautiful! I love your builds! Your builds have inspired most of my big and beautiful builds! Thanks so much! You inspire us all❤️
Gorgeous! I loved how the alien trees worked with the purple and the fountain! I almost felt like since there were a few orange trees that it would be neat to have the fountain have lava, but it looks great and yes, you made it work and then some
1:45 A fundamental part of Baroque (architecture and literature) is also the antithesis of the joy and willingness of living and the constant awareness of human fragility and death. One reason why the also built so grand was as a show of power and to show their defiance to nature (and because of that their gardens and the like were also VERY rigid with clear lines and cuts).
It's amazing what you can do with all the variety. Would be amazing watching you build all the colors in all styles. As soon as you started to build the pillars, we knew it would be good!
The fact that she took her time to subtitle EVERYTHING in the editing program, shows she cares about her viewers. I rank Geminitay as the number 1 Best Builder in minecraft history. GG
Wow, i looks so magical and royal. Any other style would look good (considering it’s you building) but baroque style actually fits really well with it. I wish i had the time and patience you do 😂. Great job!
Okay this is literally a simulation moment. The other night, I was laying away trying to remember the two architecture styles I learned about in my 10th grade history/ geography class. There was rococo and I couldnt remember the other one but I loved both styles SO MUCH. I forgot to look it up and find out the other name but here I am, watching a minecraft video and bam the other style was Baroque. Thank you for itching that scratch but also confirming that the world is not real and only exists in my head as these are two very random scenarios that shouldnt have connected. cannot be coincidence
Low-key this is such a cool build and such a fun video idea. I loved this. Yes some the things like the alien trees were really different and unique but it just really worked somehow.
There are so many blocks that should not go together, yet somehow you made them look great, I'd love to see more of these types of videos in the future. Those copper trees alone inspire me to play minecraft again for the first time in months.
this turned out so amazing! looking forward to that like goal being hit, id love to see an interior in this style. I really adore how the center fountain and garden area turned out, great touch using the wither roses!
i would love this as a series where you get to try different styles and colors that maybe you haven’t used in a while. also you could make a neighborhood of different builds with the diorite streets connecting them.
Thank you for your work! You're the best! I love how calming your voice is too. Your builds are awesome! It must have taken you forever to make this! I also think the stripped wood and copper with the amethyst looks really cute.
This is a great idea for a video would like to see more videos like this with different concepts! Maybe even a full play through in survival or hardcore where the wheel decides what you do each episode.
Looks really nice. You have a good talent/eye for detail and design. I don't know if it would work or how it could be built, but wrought iron fence would look nice maybe. Your design looks good all by itself and is complete.
I absolutely love this build. The only thing I hoped for that wasn't chosen was the lights and interior. Gothic or medieval would have been fine but I love this video. I hope you get around to the interior as that would be spectacular. Great video! :D
Nice video Gem! love your videos and I've been a subscriber of your channel for awhile now, your my comfort youtuber and probably my fav Minecraft UA-camr as-well! love all your series and keep up the great work, as always.. your amazing Gem!
Making this a sorta series and making like a randomized city/neighborhood would BE SO COOL- because then we could see all of the variety and challenges done side-by-side- I mean.... Also might as well have the road leading somewhere, right? I also just... Love this challenge.... I might do one of my own soon, because it seems fun honestly- I am just not the best of builders so it would be much smaller...
I love this 🥰 It's so cool to see gem build & it would be really cool to see this kinda video with false or pearl or another *insert Minecraft builder here* 😁
I prefer this sort of "building in Creative mode" video over Survival works. I get it, there's some level of achievement in the work it takes to grind up the resources, but in Creative mode, it's all about the building and the style, so creative people can spend their time more effectively. Thanks for sharing! It does look great. Would have been cool to have a hedge maze, but so it goes.
For an interior video you should spin for what mobs are found here. Villagers, zombies, skeletons, vindicators, zombie piglins. As well as exterior pigs, cow, etc Just use a few spawners
You should make this a series and everytime you use a color/style you remove it from the wheel. And then you'll end up with a cool little town of weird mansions!
happy to see the captions! hope they appear on future videos, too! they could definitely do with a few improvements, there's a fair few typos (die, right rather than diorite; missing typo between spruce and oak) and what id call 'segment mashups', where a caption ends in the middle of a sentence and picks up with the next caption (such as No Interior being split in two) where it would work better organized differently, but their existence is a great start!
would love to see this as a small series but after every episode the color pallets and build styles are either changed or the ones used just get removed but all are built along the same pathway so that it looks like a strange neighborhood
I would love to see that!
She could make a whole village/town of wheel spin houses. And it wouldn’t have to be just houses either! It could be markets and parks and things like that.
This is such a cute idea I love it!
Oh my gosh YESSS!!!
An entire Wheel-Spin Neighborhood!!!🌟
OMG YESSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!! A awesome Idea!
Okay but how is this one of the coolest builds I’ve ever seen?! I think the baroque style really ties together the grand and mysterious “alien” vibe. Great work Gem!
Gem is Great
Gem is Great
Gem is Great
Gem is Great
Gem is great
Gem just showing off pure skill in a simple video and blowing us all away. The talent is real.
I know, she is awesome.
Ikr, Gem is Great Alright!
Now I want to see what the mansion would look like with an interior.
Hit the like button and she will change the randomly generated decision maker
like the vid everyone!!
Man only 16k likes :( I wanna see the interior anyway 🤣🤣

Yeah

Could you imagine if GeminiTay had this for her Megabase in the Next Hermitcraft Season.
Wait, the build itself or the building concept? Because the build in a Hermitcraft season, yes please
For Hermitcraft, this is a starter base. :D
The wheel part would be risky but the actual mansion would be great!
in what 10 years from now?
Yes
Those copper trees are surprisingly beautiful! I feel like you could build one in Pearl's hermitcraft base and she might not even notice
As a hard of hearing viewer, thank you for the captions!!! Also this build came out so so cool and I would kill to see the interior done in the future! Especially loved the alien trees :0
Yeah! The captions are really helpful (except for the one time where it said "die, right" instead of diorite lol)
this is so cool! i’d love to see a video dedicated to the interior :) it’d also be cool if you bonemealed the ground around the mansion, so it has a little more life ^^ the little sprouts you find in the warped forest biomes in the nether could look cool!

Yay for general building videos! Honestly, felt there wasn't enough quality ones out there since Grian stopped doing them years ago
I love that you did a building video. There just aren’t enough of them these days. And such a clever one too. Well done you for taking on Baroque!!!
Adding dimension hopper Gem lore to this, because a striaght up creative mode building video is surprisingly inspiring. Yes yes yes!
Gem !! The castle you show in the video (at 1:35) is the Château de Maison-Laffite ! It's like, 5 mins away from my house ! What a coïncidence !
gem i love love love the captions! i have an auditory processing disorder and always have to use captions, and these are so so cool!!
That looks amazing Gem! You worked really well with the wheel’s decision. To be honest I was really hoping for a hedge maze, but honestly, it still looks great.

Love the fact your adding captions :D
Really helps me follow along without constantly skipping back
The purple really makes this feel like a mysterious alien/villain mansion. Everything ties together nicely looking coherent while still being just a smidge uncanny. Great job, here's hoping for the interior!
Love this concept to help you choose a palette. Lovely episode as always, thank you Gem!
This was the quickest I have ever clicked on a video?? I am very excited to see what you will be making! Hope you had a nice day Gem!
You did amazing Gem! I loved this build so much. You truly made this mansion something I'd love to build in my world!
The purple is strange yet beautiful! I love your builds! Your builds have inspired most of my big and beautiful builds! Thanks so much!
You inspire us all❤️
Having the captions makes me so happy. Thank you so much, Gem! I always think about transcribing them for myself haha
I love this build soo much, the video is almost as good as the house ALMOST
hey gemini, I always watch you to unwind after the stress of my school. You always i,prove my days when you post. Thank you very much!!!
LOVED this video!! Thank you Gem! Feeling inspired
Purple is my favorite color. I was excited when I saw it.
Actually this is one of the best styles of building, appreciate u
All of your builds are so nice, they never disappoint. They look so gorgeous . I always look forward to the next one.
Gorgeous! I loved how the alien trees worked with the purple and the fountain! I almost felt like since there were a few orange trees that it would be neat to have the fountain have lava, but it looks great and yes, you made it work and then some
These types of videos are so relaxing to watch every now and then

One reason why the also built so grand was as a show of power and to show their defiance to nature (and because of that their gardens and the like were also VERY rigid with clear lines and cuts).
This is lovely! I was surprised you got the purple to work so well :D
It's amazing what you can do with all the variety. Would be amazing watching you build all the colors in all styles.

i really really love this omg!! I love building with super colorful blocks and this is epic inspiration
Okay this is literally a simulation moment. The other night, I was laying away trying to remember the two architecture styles I learned about in my 10th grade history/ geography class. Love how gem just casually makes a purple alien mansion look beautiful
There are so many blocks that should not go together, yet somehow you made them look great, I'd love to see more of these types of videos in the future.
Those copper trees alone inspire me to play minecraft again for the first time in months.
Love this style of architecture. Wish you used it more since you did so well lmao
this turned out so amazing! looking forward to that like goal being hit, id love to see an interior in this style. I really adore how the center fountain and garden area turned out, great touch using the wither roses!

This was such a GREAT idea!!! Loved the video.
You could turn it into a halloween maze or something! It looks kinda spooky🎃🎃
Its so weird that it's amazing and I love it!
My face lit up when I saw that gem posted!!
Amazing vid❤❤
I think die, Right is an underrated block. I absolutely love it!
Love subtitles 😂
This is a great idea for a video would like to see more videos like this with different concepts! Maybe even a full play through in survival or hardcore where the wheel decides what you do each episode.
Absolutely love it being colorful and quirky!
Love this! The purple building with the orange trees give me very Halloween vibes.
The whole build is so neat!
I would LOVE to see more videos like this! I really like getting a peek inside your builder brain.
Gem being a gem (hehe) educating the youth about building styles. Nothing but respect :D
It came together surprisingly really well
I really like the fountain! It tied everything together wonderfully
i love how you explain what the theme is and the backstory behind it!
Fun concept for a vid! Great execution for the choices you rolled
Again! This was fun to watch, id love to see the other options picked but its in the heart of the blocks
Just need 18k more likes. Then we can finally see the interior
Yasss
I love how much this channel has grown she deserves every subscription!!!
I love how Gem is always happy! Btw I really wanted it to be Cherry Blossom for the trees!
Its amazing as always, your so good at building
LOVE THIS CREATIVE RENDER
Its amazing how talented you are. Thanks for gifting us with this beautiful housemansion.
i could watch you for month and not get bored😂😂🤣🤣
Awesome video! Also you have no idea how much I appreciate the subtitles, I know that took a lot of editing! Thanks, Gem! Much love to you!
Looks really nice. You have a good talent/eye for detail and design. I don't know if it would work or how it could be built, but wrought iron fence would look nice maybe. Your design looks good all by itself and is complete.
This is so beautiful and creative. I really hope you do the interiors. I think you'd do them be so pretty!
I absolutely love this build. The only thing I hoped for that wasn't chosen was the lights and interior. Gothic or medieval would have been fine but I love this video. I hope you get around to the interior as that would be spectacular. Great video! :D
I love it!! And your mansion has a back!
This is the first creative build I think I've seen from you in a few years! I love the build a ton though!!
This is beautiful! I love the style, purple is my favourite colour and the alien trees are beautiful! And I really like the fountain!
Nice video Gem! love your videos and I've been a subscriber of your channel for awhile now, your my comfort youtuber and probably my fav Minecraft UA-camr as-well! love all your series and keep up the great work, as always.. your amazing Gem!
This NEEDS an interior! Absolutely stunning build!
This is so cool!! I loved all the purple tones.
These challenges are great because you have to work with what you get, i love this type of thing
Absolutely gorgeous build Gem! I personally am grateful the wheel chose purple. Now, I issue you a challenge, same build, but out of all black blocks
Making this a sorta series and making like a randomized city/neighborhood would BE SO COOL- because then we could see all of the variety and challenges done side-by-side-
I mean.... Also might as well have the road leading somewhere, right?
I also just... Love this challenge.... I might do one of my own soon, because it seems fun honestly- I am just not the best of builders so it would be much smaller...
I'd love to see this become a full series. Like keep adding new builds by spinning the wheel. Could take viewers suggestions for the wheel.
Gem: I think this mansion didn’t actually turn out too bad…
Me: *my jaw literally drops at the stunning✨ build*
I love this 🥰
It's so cool to see gem build & it would be really cool to see this kinda video with false or pearl or another *insert Minecraft builder here* 😁
Genuinely, you made that look really good, given your requirements. It looks amazing!
I love the colour purple, so I'm happy you got to build such an incredible mansion with it.
Beautiful as always Gem! Its a beautiful gradient!
Purple is my favorite color but minecraft certianly has .... interesting purple blocks. Very impressive build!💜💜💜
For an interior video you should spin for what mobs are found here.
Villagers, zombies, skeletons, vindicators, zombie piglins.
As well as exterior pigs, cow, etc
Just use a few spawners
I love the colors and especially everything from the baroque era everything then was so beautiful
You should make this a series and everytime you use a color/style you remove it from the wheel. And then you'll end up with a cool little town of weird mansions!
We need the interior! Also it looks so good i cant- 💗
I love the idea behind this!
I'd love to see this as a series where gem finishes an entire city 💕
happy to see the captions! hope they appear on future videos, too!
they could definitely do with a few improvements, there's a fair few typos (die, right rather than diorite; missing typo between spruce and oak) and what id call 'segment mashups', where a caption ends in the middle of a sentence and picks up with the next caption (such as No Interior being split in two) where it would work better organized differently, but their existence is a great start!
I love these kinds of episodes! they're so awesome!😝
Woahh, I love this build sm, I think I've discovered my next build inspiration
