As mentioned in one of my last my external wind suppressing microphone has developed a low frequency hum. Until I can resolve, get another, or the wind is calm enough to use the mic on the camera, I will be manually adding a sound filter to minimize this the best I can. It does not seem to impact the sound of the engines too much. Yes the idle speed needs to be lowered a bit. For some reason that screw is very tight.
very good throttle transition. runs very good.
totally agree, the round head engines from sanye are the best, long lasting, strong reliable performance and very fuel efficient. Something like SF series from OS
Funny you should mention the SF series of engines…. Stay tuned for more on that.
There older FSR styles ASP engines definitely perform well and I think you will see 14000rpm with 15% nitro fuel
I thought I had a video demonstrating the ASP 40 46 running a 10x6 prop at 14,000RPM, but now I cannot find it. Maybe I was mistaken for another engine. I never use higher nitro content to simply boost RPM in my videos.
