Great tutorial. Love knowing how to do this so that it is strong enough to hold. To strengthen the legs stuff them with paper until they fill solidly packed. You can add braces inside the tubes before glueing by using cut popsicle sticks, add 4 vertically across from each other inside each tube, between them add 2 horizantally at the top and bottom if you wish to avoid stuffing the legs to prevent them from buckling. To smooth the contact paper use the edge of the ruler or the edge of a plastic card, with after making the tiniest of cuts in the adhesive paper near the bubbles. Just FYIs that add durability and value.

I just realized I can use vegetable cans , screw it onto the box. fill it with small stones, seal with packaging tape. Well worth trying. Thanks for stimulating my stale brain

Cool. I am actually using an amazon box as a mock up for a kitchen cupboard design. It gives me a visual of the size I want, the configurations of the shelves and the height it should be placed.

Do you know that cheap furnitures nowadays are often really made out of a kind of cardboard? They simply glue over the product a thin lamina of plastic at the end. For this reason I always prefer old furnitures made out of wood
Hope this can take the liad fir a longer duration of time ... will then be worth making .
