They had never seen a live white person before, they saw white people on TV and Movies, they honestly thought she was a Princess or Movie star or someone very important. She was treated extremely well. She said the animals just roam the streets and are not afraid of people at all. She was actually petting and naming cows that just hang out on the streets. She had the time of her life, said it was a beautiful country and the people are so beautiful. She said the street food is amazing.

I remember studying about India back in the eighth grade. Our teacher (who had traveled there) said that cows are sacred and cannot be killed. I thought that meant that they were worshipped.
Not all people in India worship cows. India is a country with many religions so Hinduism is the major religion so most people in India are Hindus so most people worship cows.
When I visited India the first time, I had a driver. There’s no way I could ever drive there. It’s a zen experience. I’ve seen a man fall off a bus and jump back up. They just ran, caught up with the bus and jumped back on. Amazing. Also, when my car returned to the hotel, my driver had to show ID and the guards searched the car for bombs, sweeping the under carriage with a mine sweeper. I had to put my purse through an X-ray machine. You grow so much when you travel!
