I`m 46 now,,, this makes me feel like I`m 8 again,, standing in line ,in a queue round the block ,so excited to see IV. I do indeed have A NEW HOPE !!!!!!!

I also got tears in my eyes from the trailer.
Im an OG JETI. im 49 this year, i saw the original IV in theaters, for us kids then it was such a game changer to see ships moving in space. Before that all u had was the enterprise pic on the screen with red lines drawn coming out of it. Im glad so many more generations have grown to love what i saw in the 70s as awesome.
Seeing the millennium falcon diving down being pursued by a tie fighter and the Han and leia theme music makes me shiver all over! I'm a kid again! I'm still recovering from it!

I cried too and I am a mature man who remembers watching Episode IV in 1978 at the cinemas. I'm getting that same feeling about this epic movie too.
In my opinion, no other movie franchise has created such a fan base that has crossed generations. The original trilogy defined my generation and seeing the new trailer gave me goosebumps. Watching your reaction brought tears to my eyes. So glad this movie affects so many people like this. Thank you for sharing 😆, OH Caterina!
I'm not ashamed to say i drop some tears and the Nostalgia i felt, and happiness when i watched it by the first time.
I am not kidding you...this will be about the 20th fan viewing I have watched and I just realized I spent more time watching the little inserts of the actual trailer than I did watching reactions....lol
I had a similar reaction to the return of the blue light saber.

Oh the best is yet to come with Star Wars. Heck with all the fans they didn't even need a trailer. All they needed was the title sequence and the original theme.
I wish I could go back in time just so I can remember this exact feeling of seeing this trailer for the first time. Girly, I still feel this way just thinking about it 😅

Pure joy.
This could be the greatest trailer ever constructed. It starts slowly and builds gradually, using music motifs from the original trilogy in just the right way until by the end of it our hearts are pounding and a huge smile is plastered across our faces (especially when we see Han say "It's true. All of it"). The part that got the best reaction out of me, believe it or not, was the rear-facing shot of the Millennium Falcon going into hyperspace. That was BAD ASS!
Anyway, still no Luke, and I'm wondering how/when he is going to be revealed.
Can't wait!

+JustWasted3HoursHere The bit where the Falcon first appeared diving around that wrecked Star Destroyer accompanied by Han & Leia's theme did me in - I was a sobbing mess after that. I've loved Star Wars since I was 8 - but I didn't expect a reaction like that at the age of 46! BEST TRAILER EVER.
+Dave Etheridge Yeah, DC fans are going "ga ga" over the new Batman vs Superman trailer, and I'm thinking to myself "If only they had had the same guys who did the SW7:TFA trailer do it!" _Those_ guys should win an award for best trailer ever - yet it doesn't give nearly as much away as the BvS:DoJ trailer.

These are my predictions...CHEWBACCA is going to get injured or die... the planet that most of them are fighting on is the original DEATH STAR very old very ancient quite possibly from the infinite empire days and the lightsaber that KYLO REN is wielding is in fact a FIRESABER you know the one time use lightsaber type that explodes though I think some how this version is stable :)
I would of been contempt with just the trailer. They should of canceled the movie. Leave us in awe..
