Here is what happened: There was a genocide in Rwanda, and people who did that genocide fled to Congo. There, they were armed by the French's somewhat rogue government members (see Lt. Col. Guillaume Ancel's testimony) and Mobutu the Congolese dictator. Kagame invaded the Congo to chase Mobutu and hunt down these genocide criminals in 1996 and since that day, there has been wars and proxy wars between Rwanda and the Congo. To this day, in Rwanda there are 1.4+ million confirmed dead from the genocide (numbers who are buried in genocide memorial sites) and there is at least 12 million dead in the Congo in these wars. A further 1 million Rwandans are presumed dead in Congolese forests as they fled with the exiled government. In total, that is around 30 to 50% of the 1994 Rwandan population and 15% of the Congolese population of that era. About the 1 million Rwandans who died fleeing, basically the exiled government told them "if you go back, Kagame will finish you" and those who even dreamed of returning to Rwanda were killed on the spot by these fleeing bureaucrats. Many refugees died in the forests due to a very bad life and lack of resources, etc.
They will go on until there is no more FDLR in the Congo because this FDLR is classified as a terrorist group and it was the armed wing of the exiled government responsible for the millions dead in the Rwandan genocide.
Everything else like the minerals, everyone in the region buys minerals from smugglers who steal them. The minerals come as a side effect of the actual bigger war which is Rwanda's unending desire to root out all of FDLR and the Congolese government which has elements that support and others that despise this group (so alliances change based on who has the most favor from the presidency). Normally a few years ago, Rwanda was doing joint operations with Congo against FDLR, they even killed its then commander Gen Mudacumura. Something happened which we don't know and the cooperation stopped and now it's war with FDLR's CRAP (Commando de Recherche et d'Action en Profondeur) fighting for the Congolese army. This unit is one of FDLR's most elite and it is the only proven Long range reconnaisance Patrol unit in the theater (so all those precision drone strikes against M23 that killed colonels and majors in meetings, it is these guys who probably do the field recon and directing of these strikes).
This will probably end in some sort of reconciliation as it always does, then war again, then reconciliation, then war, it is a never ending cycle.

      @lionelm6400 9 місяців тому

Its interesting how you can give a group of people like asians just an opportunity to succeed and most will find a way to build a decent if not great life for themselves while other groups like Africans you can give them all the help in the world and most will still fail to do anything with all that assistance.

@@catdogmousecheese IP conflict is strategically important as Israel's geographic placement makes it vital for US interests in the Middle East and for global shipping. NSK conflict is mostly due to the presence of nuclear devices. CT conflict is due to TWN being one of the only major producers of computer chips and its vital positioning in limiting China's naval development into the Pacific. The reasons why the Congo wars are largely ignored are not only due to the age of the conflict but also due to public sentiment in the region being largely anti-western and the lack of key strategic interests in the region. Hard to drum up western support and empathy in a conflict where both sides are actively burning western flags and committing war crimes relatively worse than the current IP conflict.

THE TRUTH ABOUT THE WAR IN THE CONGO 🇨🇩 DRC:
After migration of thousands of Africans ethnicity. In 14 to 15th centuries those Tutsi came from Ethiopia 🇪🇹 and Somalia 🇸🇴 then immigrated to Rwanda 🇷🇼 . That times they didn't have any land cause they were warriors marionettes utilized by the west during their wars. So at their local areas in Somalia and Ethiopia they got told to move away as they went to help white people in Europe 🇪🇺, then they came back in Africa and installed themselves in Rwanda then they spread later in Uganda , Tanzania , Kenya, Burundi, etc. No single one was in the Congo yet.
Then they went to Rwanda and starting fighting local people there and change power all the times by war sometimes they were on power , sometimes local people.
In 1950s , the lost war and power to local people so they fled to Congo in South Kivu , they name that place Mulenge. So that's why those ones in Congo are called Banyamulenge. Our former president decided to help them , which now is considered the biggest mistake our former President Mobutu did, he announced that every who was in the Congo 🇨🇩 DRC before the independence in 1960 became Congolese. So Banyamulenge became Congolese in that way as I have told you it was a biggest mistake every Congolese will tell you these.
In 1994 , Tutsi and Hutu (local people) they started to kill each other, apparently they kill more Tutsi cause Hutu had more access to guns and matchetes those are history they teach every Congolese in school from primary to University. So Hutu lost the war because French lied to them to do cease fire 🔥 and they tell those Hutu to go to Congo, the Congolese government accepted to welcome them, another big mistake because other neighbouring countries refused to welcome them genocidaire as neutral person as me, Hutu did bad by killing innocent babies we saw on the movies and history at school.
In 1996, Rwanda government Tutsi and few Congolese politicians removed mobutu on power through war called AFDL liberation, every Congolese was happy cause Mobutu was a dictator and war there for 32 years. And the had of that Liberation movement AFDL became president of Zaire and change the name to colonial name Congo and post colonial name Congo before Mobutu.
After Liberation in 1998, when the president of the country and of liberation told Rwanda government to go back to Rwanda they were angry and started a another war called RCD Goma.
WARS IN MY DRC TILL NOW : as I said the biggest mistakes was to allow Tutsi Banyamulenge to be Congolese in 1970s , and to Welcome Hutu Génocidaire in the Congo as Refugees. Rwanda 🇷🇼 government through these wars used discriminatory allegations that Banyamulenge have been mistread in the Congo 🇨🇩, which is not true cause these people have been with US Congolese since before until wars and Genocide of Rwanda that's there are Hutu and Tutsi we used to know all are Rwandan our brothers and our sisters until their government brought these separation in Rwanda and in the Congo.
Everytime Rwanda does wars in the Congo they came as to look for Hutu Génocidaires or they came to support Banyamulenge in the Congo 🇨🇩 so that they government can treat them well.
First of all, we don't know who is Tutsi Munyamulenge and who is Tutsi Rwandan because they are all the same , speak same language, they all against Congolese governments all the times.
Secondly, that confusion Rwandan government use it to infiltrate our government so that all the times when there's negotiations between Congolese government and rebellious Banyamulenge wars, they government of Rwanda will impose and infiltrate its military in our Government so they can have access to our government information and those Rwandais military 🪖 need to be highly ranked as general ,major, colonels, and so on.
In Conclusion, Rwanda government with its rebellious allied, and its genocidiary system comes in the Congo for several reasons:
    - Working for super power countries : USA, France, UK, Belgium, and European Unions so that they can give them Congo 🇨🇩 's natural resources for free or at cheaper cost.
    - Congo 🇨🇩 is so bigger and Richest country in the World when it comes to natural resources.
-Divide Congo 🇨🇩 so that the poorest and smallest country , Rwanda can be bigger and Richer.
    - kill all Congolese if it's possible and take over
    - Send Rwandan citizens as Banyamulenge ("means Congolese Tutsi " apparently) send them as Congolese refugees in Australia, USA, UK, France, Belgium, Europe, North America, New Zealand, etc so that one day they can come and divide Congo or bring huge war in their favor in the Congo. They make sure once the Rwanda citizens arrive in the those developed countries they can do army so that they can go weaken the Congo.
-Over half millions Rwandese have gone to those countries as Congolese when they are not even Congolese or Banyamulenge but Rwandais who speak Kinywarwanda or English. While languages spoke in the Congo 🇨🇩 are French as Official language, 4 nation languages: Kikongo, Kiswahili, Tshiluba, and Lingala. Plus , 450 plus dialects and every dialects correspond to language of each tribe. Such for your information there is no tribe in the Congo called Banyamulenge or Tutsi Congolese don't exist and will never exist.
    - Every Tutsi Rwandais want to be Congolese.
    - Gain more from war in the Congo by raping Congolese women cause most those soldiers or Rwanda origin have HIV aids.
-Kill all Congolese if they can so Rwanda can take over.
    - Rwanda Government and its genocidiary system have killed over 20 million Congolese citizens since 1996 till present.
    - Rape all Congolese women : every 5 minutes these people have raped over 30 millions women, children and boys , men.
    - Causing Atrocities so that local Congolese people can leave their houses 🏠 , lands so that Rwanda can take over.
    - Congolese Army cannot win any kind of wars against any rebellious group founded, supported and created by Rwanda because Congolese army is infiltrate by Rwandan soldiers imposed at so called negotiations which imposed by the west on profits of the west and Rwanda government.
    - Kill as many Congolese people as they can cause they West supports Rwanda government and make the media silent that's why there's a silent biggest genocide happening in the Congo 🇨🇩 cause Rwanda are killing us Congolese and the west and media are silent

People are calling for an end to supplies of arms and money that is funding the violence. No one is asking for Western troops to intervene, they are actually want the West out. Importantly the Congolese have 450 tribes who been living in peace for centuries. Tustis are not autochtones to the Congo, they were welcomed in 70s by Mobutu yet want to claim the Congo just like they did with Rwanda.
Kagame the Rwanda president has personal expansionist ambitions which he does not hide, he is using the tutsis we welcomed , making the same false claim of genocide of tutsis against a country which has 450 tribes yet never commited genocide against each other while Rwanda with only two tribes we know what they did to each others.
If the Tutsis we welcomed in the Congo feel Congolese, they should NOT spread other Congolese blood and seek Rwanda help to destroy Congolese lives. How do you want us to feel about them after losing so many of our people and after so many years of war and destruction of our country?

Had things gone differently during the "scramble for Africa" and decolonisation not been hampered by the Cold War and then imperialist/dictatorial nepotism, Africa could have had four major crown economies as the foundations of stability and prosperity while reducing reliance on outsiders off continent and instead trade with Europe, USA, China, etc as equals.
      Northern crown - Egypt
      Southern crown - South Africa
      Western crown - Nigeria
      Eastern crown - Ethiopia
It's still not too late but it requires strong and charismatic leaders (who truly love Africa) with a long-term vision of a more self-reliant Africa instead of greedy, corrupt and hate driven leaders that only care for short-term gains while further dividing folks.

And let's not talk about how Rwanda got to wipe most of them during the Congo wars. @@Awdal_State samiland is a stable and prosperous democracy and they shouldn't be forced to assimilate with the rest of unstable somalia. Rwanda does have the right to right to protect themselves in their border, but does not have the "right" to violate drc's sovereignty. I ask you something simple name the leader of fdlr and tell me how many of them are in congo? You can't do that. You can name the leader of al-shabaab,Hamas,boko haram,m23,codeco,maimai and all terrorist groups of the world. But for some reason no body knows FDLR. Can't even tell me a major attack carried out by fdlr. I can tell you of the top of my head what each group I need previously did, but you have nothing on FDLR. Just spewing Kagame propaganda. You are a biased "great leader Kagame" glazer.

Many are blaming Rwanda for the conflict, but I'd actually place much of the blame on the DRC authorities.
FDLR consists of perpetrators of genocide, one of the worst genocides in human history! The Congolese government has also done little to nothing to clamp down on them, and repatriate them to Rwanda to face justice. The FDLR has stated before that they intend to return to Rwanda one day, something which would destabilise the country and plunge it back into the horrors of 1994.
If Rwanda is to ensure its lasting peace, it needs to ensure that perpetrators of genocide are not able to return to stoke up hatred and harm the community. This means it must pursue them relentlessly, and bring them to justice.

@@ebrimajallow9631Two wrongs don’t make a right doesn’t really work in war. For example, if America drops nuclear bombs on Japan, it’s wrong to kill those citizens, but it’s right in the sense that it helps them reach a justified and not-so-costly peace.
