- This video will help you understand how diamonds are produced via CVD (Chemical Vapor Deposition) process and how they are always the purest. The purest diamonds that are made of 100% carbon & are classified as Type IIa diamonds. Understand this and much more on www.limelightdiamonds.com

The explanation is so simple and yet ive learned a lot from it. Very good video
Really informative and well done presentation. I'll be using your channel as a resource in my continued onboarding into this industry. Thank you very much!
Wow that's awesome
So in short:
When a cvd plasma reactor and carbon fall in love, carbon puts its seed inside the reactor. 9 months later a purer diamond is born.
😂😂😂😂😁😁 well analysed
@@misanthropic_child_yt i apologize for my rude interdiction here, but the chemical vapor deposition process is usually much shorter at 10-12 weeks, sorry.
@@ethans4965 why u being so polite ? ThankS for the correction
@@misanthropic_child_yt I just don't want to cause conflict because of a rude choice of words on my part, also you're welcome.
LDG are gonna be cheaper in India so I cannot wait to finally get one for my mother. Fingers crossed
its pretty 😍
one thing you forgot to mention in the video, that it takes too less time to form a diamond in lab than in mine, because of some special environment created.
Which company make plazma reactor for cvd manufacturing?
Seki
Let me know if you found out
I'm wondering if there's some kind of limit to how big they can grow. You know how cool it would be to have a diamond the size of a baseball?
The chunk of the Cullinan Diamond was about half a kg, and it was estimate that the original stone was well over 1 kg. Since a baseball is about 0.145 kg, yeah its definitely possible given enough material and a large enough reactor
Nice doct.madam.where pure carbon is made.
Make diamond mini space ship hulls with photovoltaic layer inside, install mini closed loop space drive and add a well-designed cellphone with a long range antenna. Asteroid drone!
how do they get diamond seed
from a previous diamond
From the real diamond
From a HPHT diamond ... it was made from pure 100% Carbon free of Boron & Nitrogen gases ! That diamond comes out of the HPHT machine
as a octahedral shaped Type II A { Clarity : Flawless / Color : E } ! It takes HPHT 10 weeks too form a 1 carat diamond , but CVD only takes 3-4
weeks for (16 ) 5 carat diamond cubes !

So people what you think for buy? Natural diamond or CVD diamond?
Im from India and still working with natural diamond only with my all clients.
I ll b very happy if you guys give the right suggestion for the future work.😊
Thank you 🙏
Natural diamonds are the only real diamonds. I am reading a lot about how CVD diamonds are the 'same' as natural but they are NOT natural so cannot be called simply Diamonds, no matter how pure they claim to be they are man made and thus don't have the magic of natural diamonds. well done for using natural stones.
The value of diamond is because of its hard long time process under the earth it goes. A shortcut which shows its similar or exact or better will be not worth for me as its a lab grown. would buy fake ones which looks alike as diamonds instead of LAB GROWN ONES ( MAN MADE USING MACHINES AND TECHNOLOGY ).
Trax sent me here.
Only stupids still buying natural diamonds.
Can a regular person buy one of these machines?
Yes but finding out how to use one is so freakin hard if you want to work together let me know I'll be happy to fund the cost if you can figure out how to use these things
@@mjz187 I can figure it out, fund me lol
I'm sure it wouldn't be too hard to find someone to operate one of these. It's a complicated microwave with some gas right?
Actually own one; and make them for a living; any questions feel free I’ll give you my personal cell I can help you guys out
@@steveg1240 Where can I learn to do it. What does the equipment cost. Where do you get the equipment. What does it cost to produce a carat.
Well then they better get cheaper to buy!
The price to purchase one is almost the same as a natural one. So if I want a diamond I would rather pay for the one that nature created!
I see no problem with buying these instead of real
R̶e̶a̶l̶ natural
Sounds too good to be true
Si
Hahaahha they are not the same. If they were there wouldn't be a machine that can actually tell the deference and if they are same why call them lab grown or CVD? No offense i rather own the actual statue of liberty than the new York new York statue in las Vegas. Nothings like the real thing
What's the chemical composition of both of them? Hardness?
They only thing she's not sayin is the cvd diamond isn't worth as much as the natural one
It's just a marketing thing. The truth is natural ones are overpriced because of monopoly on diamonds. Tho, there will be always people who would like to pay old, damaged, rusty furnitures more than it's worth and call it "antique" and it wouldn't be even comfortable to sit or use as whatever purpose it is made. In matter of diamonds, there will be people to say that impure natural diamonds as "art of nature" or "every piece has own uniqueness" as they do for everything that is handmade and despise high tech perfections.
Try selling a 1 CT diamond.... You'll get 25% as an offer of what you paid...
*Save the environment and fire 50,000 African miners in South Africa.*
First you say "purer" then you say "same"; both can't be right, so which one is it? Is it purer or same? If it's purer, market as it is and never imply "same impure shit that coming from mud and dirt". Who is your marketing manager?
CVD is NOT the same process as natural diamonds. The end result is similar but also is not identical. Natural diamonds are formed by heat and PRESSURE. In CVD no extreme pressure is used. CVD is NOT on the phase transition diagram.
lol please do your research it is the same process
Very inaccurate description of the process!
what's missing?
@@dickensmccain3129 these big fat nuts 😂😂😂
@@dickensmccain3129 It's impossible to the CVD process occur in nature and it's just not explained at all
This is a very fake video
I mean....the glass is still expensive af.....Therefore let me get the real thing.....Or is it that we have mined tf out of the earth and there's to many holes in this mf to keep digging for diamonds.
They have the same chemical compound as a natural diamond but in the beginning of the video you said the lab grown diamonds are more pure then a natural diamond the fact is that on a molecular level very small amount of what ever extra it gets in the grown makes it better and that how the machine can tell the difference
cvd diamond are made in low vacuum with carbon added from a gas while natural diamond are made in high pressure environment in molten rock yet the video tell they are made the same way . this video is simply lying !
W i was about to write this
With the traditional diamond growth method, called high-pressure, high-temperature (HPHT), synthetic diamonds are produced from carbon material in apparatuses that mimic the high pressure, high temperature conditions of natural diamond formation in the earth.
The newer method, chemical vapor deposition (CVD), involves filling a vacuum chamber with carbon-containing gas that crystallizes on a synthetic diamond seed. This method uses lower temperatures and pressures than HPHT. Both methods are currently popular methods of diamond growth.
Not successful you biamond
I thought I was going to be a real video of a diamond being grown
