    My dad an I had a mining claim in Mohave County, AZ for 20 years. We used to see tarantulas walk past the campfire at night but they were always "skinny" compared to ones I always saw on TV and the one you had here. I always chalked it up to life in the desert being harder and good meals tough for them to come by.

    Great video. I spent my day up in the Sangres of Colorado, prospecting an area full of breccia, quartz, and green schist.

    My Brother TJ was chased by a bear in Idaho. Luckily he got away but he said he will never be that scared
    again. I enjoyed listening to your stories today. My family came here in 1733. I only wish I could have heard
    some of those stories. There is one fact. The property is still in the family in PA. It was given in a grant from
    the Indians. It was not surveyed but the amount given was determined by the distance a man could walk in
    2 days. No BS. True fact

    One of the few things I remember from my Geology 201 at Washington State University was the etymology of Breccia. "The word has its origins in the Italian language, in which it means "rubble". (Wiki) Thanks for taking us along.

    I'm so glad you gave an answer of never seeing a 'Big Foot'...I've never seen what most people would call such and I'm not looking forward to ever having to encounter one either...Bears, Mt Lions, and other humans are what I fear most...Really like your video's and the knowledge of what you share of the area's you show us...Thanks for being out there. Later

    I sure enjoy your channel. I am done pretty much what you do from the history value, adventure. It is amazing what I found in northern Utah goldmine dumps Graves Picture graphs Crude smelters drum tools You name it. Unfortunately like you say they're either picked over or ruined or shot at and just destroyed. Or somebody has blown them up or blocked them off. It's just too bad. I did this rough leaf for 49 years and wish I had the health to go back out and do some more .

    Nice video, awesome geology. Thanks! Gun is a no brainer in the woods, I have been close to bears many times, never shot at one but I would have if needed.

    Awesome Video! I'd recommend utilizing some lidar imaging. That may give you a better indication of where the mine is if there's any major deviations in the surface of the earth.

      It is frustrating when they do it. I read a book one time and the forest service had a dedicated employee whose job was to find and seal old mines. What a waste.

    Since you did not show the gold flakes in that rock, did you have a creditable assay company's report?

    Where are the Tarantulas migrating from and too..?

    • @LowBudgetExploration
      @LowBudgetExploration  Місяць тому +1

      They come from the Prairie to the front range of the Southern Rockies to mate. After mating, the female tries to kill the male and eat him. Crazy sh*t.
