- SERIES PREMIERE - Naomi McDuffie (Kaci Walfall) is living her best life as a top student, skateboarder and Superman-stan, when a “stunt” in the middle of her hometown of Port Oswego turns her world upside down. While Naomi's doting parents - Greg and Jennifer McDuffie (Barry Watson and Mouzam Makkar) - are concerned with their daughter's strange new fainting spells, the teen's closest friends - Annabelle (Mary-Charles Jones), Nathan (Anthony Puig), Lourdes (Camila Moreno), Anthony (Will Meyers), and Jacob (Aidan Gemme) - join Naomi to help uncover who or what is behind the unexpected event that has the small military town buzzing. A bit of sleuthing leads Naomi and her friends to discover that the owners of two local businesses - Dee (Alexander Wraith) and Zumbado (Cranston Johnson) - seem to know a lot more about the incident than everyone else. Soon Naomi realizes that the mysterious event is just the beginning of a thrilling journey that will change her life and challenge her to question everything she knew to be true. He may be both or just a comic book character. But him being both wouldn't be a stretch because in Superman and Lois Jordan was playing Injustice 2 as superman.

I'm confused is superman real on Her world or only in comics. We can clearly see a superman fight. Why would they think it's not real ?
Also how did she know he's adopted? Did Superman in their world made it known? That seems a bad choice when you're hiding you're identity
It seems Superman isn't real but DC exists but in that case how doesn't she know what a Thanagorian is. That show makes no sense.
On her Earth, aliens and super heroes only exist on comic books. She thinks he isn't real, just a character from comics because they don't want to be known, they erase all evidence of their involvement. But when she finds out she's actually an alien herself she starts connecting the dots. Honestly the tv show has a lot of plot holes. It's watchable but not a must watch. (IMO) 🤷🏼♀️

Just imagine it's kinda your life. You know superman and DC because of comics and movies / tv shows, you don't know he is actually real. She discovers that later once she finds out she's an alien herself and has powers.

They’ve already confirmed there’s no crossover this season and it isn’t Tyler’s superman in an interview

If I remember it right in the comic she dtarted out like a highschool teen detective trying to find out her past then later the writer decided to make her like Superman. I think they basically made her origin like Superman but from another dimension instead.

@@kenkeller6072 I've literally compared Naomi to every other DC show and she's still pretty damn good. The photography is perfect, the acting is good, some special effects are good, the soundtrack is perfect and the story and the mystery is just perfect every episode you get excited to know what happens... The flaws for me are that the series is slow and the few fight scenes it has are pretty bad.

This show probably takes place on Earth Prime, the same earth where Superboy Prime came from.
Highly unlikely considering that Earth Prime has an actual Superman, while from the trailer it seems that her Earth's Superman is fiction.

@@markdibuo3756 I know who he is. The problem is that CW's Earth Prime is different from its comic counterpart. In the comics it is considered the Earth where all DC characters are fiction. In the CW verse it is the Earth that was created after Crisis and has all the CW heroes in it except for Stargirl who is located on Earth 2.
They already confirmed that Naomi doesn't take place on the same earth as Arrow, Flash, Superman and Lois, etc.
Was not sure how it be I checked out what about / epidsodes seem very good but iam starting off not watching them in order iam watching when they arrive at camp and loving it....the main character iam starting to love so far a sweet likeable character. I think she going use her powers 4 good aka superhero !!! I hope she be a amazing addition to the other superhero shows so far it is and really loving it. Love how Naomi 's friend has her unique and own fashion sense like Bart Allen does on Flash ..as Three Doors Down says Let me Be Myself

Blacklighting daughter was a teen superhero too. Plus it was more "blacks" on that show. Something this show lacks even though the lead is black. They are horning in on a black actress show but notice they did not cast more black females or males on it as the main cast.
