Hey Thomas - with so many cars you tested - what would be the most comfortable (suspension and seat wise) and quiet motorway cruiser, up to 60k EUR? I don’t mind electric as well, talking taking 250km in one go, often.
I would love to see a review of a new face lifted a45s/a35 or cla models. Great work as always, thank you for the most informative car reviews on the platform
Beautiful exterior but there is no difference in the interior to the C class. I would have liked to see the SUV/CUV models have something in the interior design that sets them apart
Good overview Thomas. I disagree about the capacitive buttons on the steering wheel though. Perhaps I'm too used to having physical buttons on there since ... well, feels like forever, but the capacitive buttons are not something I got used to. I always had to look and check what I was doing, whereas I can use any steering wheel with buttons almost blindfolded. Same for the a/c controls being on the touch screen. That is just not a good idea. You can not use it without taking your eyes off the road. So no, I'm not a fan of this interior UX design. I would much rather have phsyical buttons.

It is certainly sensual details. That rear is sexy. Porsche 911 will be envious. Closest competitor is the Mercedes gle coupe, which is outstanding beautiful.
Love everything except the tail lights, which is the design every brand is adopting... Are the the glass windows, double glass like the Tesla? That helps a lot with the noise reduction.
Great reviews! I'm about to order the normal GLC 300 de SUV but want to wait until the pricing on the Coupé is available. A QUESTION FOR YOU: Which will be the quietest of the two concerning road and wind noise. I have nothing against hearing the engine when I use the accelerator ;)
Beautiful interior, I’d like every car to have such a stylish layout. I find it hard to assess the exterior look as the black hides it imo. I wish manufacturers would supply more contrasting colours as review cars. That said I imagine black would be very popular for drivers of this car and the coupe silhouette is the most attractive look in passenger motoring. Would enjoy driving this ❤to see an EVB version.
Mercedes interior design peaked with the dual screen layout that's still present in the A/E class. It went downhill from there. Even BMW recognizes that and switched to the dual screen layout for their current gen.
Design is not an issue..we just want all this top luxury brand remain their most quality not being compromise just becoz want more sales and target young customer etc..
quick question, the chap driving mentioned the suspension in the glc coupe 2024 is the same (plus-minus) as the suspension for the S-class. I assume that's the same for the regular glc (non-coupe) 2023 aswell? or was it just transferred over from the coupe 2024? can't be right....
I think they overthought the marketing with the touch control stuff. Yeah, it's gen-z friendly, but it kind of undermines the ultra-high-end image of Mercedes brand at the same time.
The changes to the rear, while seemingly subtle, have really changed the characteristic of this car dramatically. No longer does it project power and aggression, but rather a middle aged defanging. It’s got a midlife paunch and it’s spoiler is barely there. The additional length-all dedicated to the rear-has really domesticated this once rebel adolescent. As any honest woman will tell you-an inch or two makes a real difference.
I can’t agree less… you’ve somehow managed to say it all to even the ways I couldn’t express my dissatisfaction from my expectations… I’ve waited a long time for this car and tell you the truth I’ve not been wowed in the good way… I just hope the amg 43 in another color can come to my rescue
it is sad to see Mercedes going all cheap in the interior. Usage of this new "single button" structure, non-moving/no-feedback capacitive seat buttons, ditching the buttons in the cockpit area using this huge screen in the console.. I don't like any of them..
Depends on the type of cars you like. The gle 53 is better because it’s faster and has more room with a more powerful engine but personally I’ll go for this because it looks sleek and it will be cheaper than the gle.

But interior looks dated and nothing special. Even reliability for Mercedes is also not as good as before and loses to many luxury brands
