First shot of the Pfizer vaccine I had pain at the injection site first day. Woke up in the middle of the night with an insanely painful headache on the top of my head. It lasted until the middle of the following day. I had chills in the morning and slept off and on throughout the day. 2nd day after vaccine, I was tired but overall felt much better. I know another old couple who also got the same vaccine as us and their reactions were exactly the same, but opposite; only having chills for a couple days on either of the doses.
First vaccine at age 66. Didn't even feel the needle, but the fluid felt squishy in my arm. A pleasant sensation. No other affects except a very, very slight soreness in the muscle that I only felt a few times when my arm was in just the right position to feel it. Otherwise, no side effects.
I have had both Pfizer doses. Dose one: Nothing. Dose two: Slight pain at injection site; after about 4 hours, tired, mild chills and body aches. Went to bed, slept through the night, got up the next morning and felt great. I'm female and 67 years old. Two weeks later, hallelujah! The fact that I knew I was as safe as possible from devastating CoV2 disease was liberating.
Now, I’m wondering if some people aren’t getting the real vaccine? I’ve had my first Pfizer vaccine dose and I had an extremely sore arm, slight headache, slight nausea for 2 days. Then, on the third day, well that evening I got a migraine headache. Then, the next week I got a really bad migraine and seven hours after than I got another really bad migraine headache. I had visions problems for 2 days! I get my 2nd. vaccine dose tomorrow and I’m scared of what symptoms I’ll have. I’ll update this information in a few days. It’s good to know what people go through. My husband has had both Pfizer vaccine doses and had no symptoms at all, he’s so lucky. I think he already had antibodies for COVID-19. Thank all of You for posting your vaccine symptoms to help others know what to expect. ☺️
I had covid over Christmas and New Years, in hospital for ten days. I waited 3 months and got my first vaccine last week. YIKES! I got some nasty side effects. The worst being sore joints and muscles and tiredness. I feel like I just got over the flu. Not as bad as covid made me feel though.
I had my second dose yesterday and feel awful I really hope it doesn’t last 7 days!! :( but I was the same with the first one, I didn’t feel anything , now feel like I’ve been hit by a train lol
@@donnad8886 Please get your second dose! You might not experience any serious symptoms, and if so, they will eventually subside! You'll feel so much more confident after your fully vaccinated!!
I'm 73. Nine hours after my second injection, my hand started itching severely. I took Benadryl and it stopped. This was the arm where I had the injection. I know of one other woman whose whole arm itched. Other than that, she said she was fine.
Had my first shot felt fine. No pain arm was good, piece of cake. Three weeks later had my second shot at 2:00pm went to bed that night and felt fine. The next morning got up went to make my morning coffee when I realized I had chills. Turned the heat up a couple degrees and realized I felt hungover. Like real hungover. Went back to bed and stayed there all day. The next day I woke up and felt I was about 80% normal. By the time the evening rolled around I knew I was through the worst of it. On the third day, I was totally back to normal. I should mention that I'm 67 and a diabetic with good sugar control. Was it worth it, I'd do it again in a heartbeat.
@@pam_jacksonhi thanks for sharing , it's a worry i am a young 70 hahaha , and here it's the Astrazeneca so much has been said on it so not keen to have that one , the over 80 here have had the Pfizer jab my friend's 90 year old Mother had 2nd dose of Pfizer , and had a bit of a sore arm but nothing else .
i just had my first phizer vaccine. and i’m having chills, headaches, sadness, tiredness, and i hate feeling like this 😔 makes me almost regret getting it
2nd pfizer shot has been awful. 6 full days of a fever of above 102. Most nights it has been 103. Sever cold, chill, aches, went with my brother and wife. Neither had much side effects to speak of.
I had my second dose on 3rd April and I was fine until I went to bed like 10hours later. I had aches and pains, fever and headache. I felt very weak during this time. This lasted 2 days. But it's different for everyone. Some don't experience much.
I’m 54 and had no reaction to the second Pfizer shot. Not even a sore arm. I was told to drink lots of water right after the shot which I did. Maybe that did it but not sure. Lucky me.
My husbands experience here. He just turned 50 3 weeks ago. Dose one for me had i soreness in my arm. Does-2 though 8 hours in the arm pain was 3X worse than dose 1 which resulted in an awful night of sleep. Couldnt find a comfortable position to sleep in because no matter which side i laid on. The arm pain was miserable. When i got up for work my arm pain eased a little but still hurt all day. By 9am i had nausea and shortness of breath even while sitting down. Im about 32 hours in as i type this.
Shot one it really hit me over night when I got up in morning next day I was like damnnnnn hit me like a 16 wheeler chills, fatigue nausea and headache.second day doing much better but not 100% yet
I'm 63 had my 2nd Pfizer shot on Monday April 19th. Personally I had no side effects from first or second. Others may but I'm one of the lucky ones I guess.
Thank you. After my 2nd dose I was mostly just tired and my arm hurt. But I had a really runny nose for 42 hours. I ran out of kleenex really early on, glad I had TP!
I have never seen a shot given "through" a band-aid. That is not a good thing! Never saw that happen in my life. I'm having symptoms 8 days after the 2nd shot. So,yup everyone is different.
I never seen that either leave it up to someone they gave a crash course to at walmart to do something like that it suppose to only go in to ur skin what that person did was wrong I would have stopped them and made her take away the bandaid and then walked out or asked for someone else
Wow...I got dose two and that night I literally threw up 3 times and started hallucinating and I was hearing people calling my name and seeing them in my room.....plus all the other side affects
Thank you David! I am going now for 2nd and could not sleep last night so your calm demeanor and realistic "reveal" helped me very much! I was happy the algorithm led me to you! I subscribed ! 🌹🤗🌹
I got my 2nd shot yesterday and I have a headache, fatigue, and strangely, my teeth hurt! So weird. *edit* thanks to all well-wishers! I am completely fine now. After 36hrs I was good to go. :)
All signs and symptoms of an inflammatory response, just a helluva' big one. You DO NOT TAKE AN ANTI-INFLAMMATORY Meds SUCH AS IBUPROFEN OR NAPROXEN (GENERIC NAMES - READ THE NAMES ON THE BOX OR BOTTLES OR ASK YOUR PHARMACIST)!! TAKING AN ANTI-INFLAMMATORY WILL WORK AGAINST THE IMMUNE RESPONSE YOU'RE TRYING TO GET FROM THE VACCINE. I get my vaccine in 4 days but luckily have morphine and vicodin from my irritable bowel. The only time having IBS-D has been a big plus!
@@eleventy-seven Fantastic for you, and for your mom! I know that she'll be glad that you had the good sense of mind to suffer a little up front in order to be protected. I worry about my late teen boys who think they know it all and therefore won't receive the vaccine. Kids. Whatta' ya' gonna' do?
@Trashed Unfortunately, our bodies are not designed to fight off diseases it does not recognize. A strong immune response to the vaccine is the far better option to getting the disease. If this was a cancer vaccine, who would object?
Slight sore arm but 30 hours in and I have had no other side effects. What I thought was interesting is the placebo group in the study last year, 25% experienced fatigue. I wonder if for some people feel fatigued because they are told that they could be fatigued.
The shit hit the fan for my about 24 hours after the dose. That’s when the aches, pains, headache, back ache, etc. started. I also had a fever. I slept most the ay today. I got my shot yesterday around 7 pm. I took a bath and it brought my fever down. I look forward to this passing. That said I’d do it again! This is SO much better than getting the full on virus!
I am 74 years old and had no side effects with dose 1 or dose 2 of the Pfizer vaccine. The only thing I experienced was slight soreness at the injection site for a very short amount of time. I guess I was one of the fortunate ones.
Thanks to everyone for sharing your experiences! Seems like there's a huge variety of reactions, which is a good thing for people to keep in mind. As I indicated in the video and in the description: We are not medical professionals! If you have any doubts about what's best to do, please consult your doctor and/or an expert (and not some random guy on UA-cam, including me!)
I'm 59 and a smoker so I was very happy to get the vaccine I had my second dose of Pfizer on Monday 2 days ago and I have not had any side effects I am a hypochondriac so you know I thought maybe I would but nothing I've had nothing so just wanted to tell you there's some good news there I'm pretty healthy besides the fact that I smoke I need to quit smoking
I had that on my first dose of Moderna those horrible incapacitating symptoms yes I did have Covid. My second dose is freaking me out I am tempted to not even get it!
The nurse is so kind and explains well. Also she placed the round bandage something and injected on top of it... very curious...wish I could see it closer.
I just spent the last 24 hours in bed and in pain after the second dose because they told me I couldn't take ANY pain reliever or cold meds for 2 weeks. Then I come on here and she says Tylenol is okay. :( I'm gonna stick with my specific instructions but man I hate how unsure everything is. Either way, despite the awful reaction, I am so glad to have both my shots.
@@sunnymagnuson1809, you’d think that in the age of information people wouldn’t be so conspiracy driven. You can literally look up the ingredients of the vaccine and the research behind it.
I'm about 10 days out from Pfizer 2, and had pretty much zero side effects, aside from some arm soreness. It's so interesting how differently people react to it. I have read that women are more likely to experience side effects than men, which seems to be borne out here.
I heard and read that as well. I read that Woman report more side effects.... They say it could be either due to hormones or that men usually weigh more than woman and the dose is actually the same for both sexes. I am having my second next week and am stocked up on Tylenol, Soup and hoping for the best. Everyone I know with the exception of my Brother has had side effects. But then again everyone else I know were females.
@@suzannenelson919 there has been some women getting periods right after the shot or getting a late period.. but me being a man have never experienced a period myself so it would be very very weird for me to experience that symptom.. lol
Wow, 84 and sick in bed for four days....... That's terrible! I'm 68 and had second Pfizer jab along with my wife 65, mum 87 and dad 93 all without issue. Almost two months now and no problems at all!
Interesting to give the jab through a patch or bandaid. I have never had an injection like that. They usually jab me and then put on a bandaid if I bleed. I got severe chills for 30 minutes 18 hrs after dose and then some body aches and a slight fever but it all was gone after 90 minutes.
2nd pfizer shot yesterday.. arm pain first 24 hrs. at 24 hours..fatigue, foggy, slight headache, slight fever. Arm pain is less though. Not enough to go home from work for the day (office job) but Ill be going to bed early tonight. Ill take this temp discomfort over death any day..
Me watching this video: I came here for vaccine advice. I left here just wanting to ride in the car with the girls listening to pop music and discussing the lyrics. Lol
Everyone is different. Too much knowledge can be a dangerous thing. I sometimes focus on what I am told to expect which usually makes me watch for things to go wrong. Nothing did!
First dose just mild pains but the second dose of the Pfizer vaccine, on top of the pains and fatigue I had, there were excruciating pains in my left breast (I got it on my left arm) which lasted about 5 days! Worst pains ever. I googled it and saw that it may cause the lymph nodes in that area to get inflamed and many women have had similar issues.
Got first shot- nada. Second shot - "punched in arm" feeling, aches, temp, chills, and TIRED ..... OMG, sooooooooooooooo freaking TIRED!!! - YUK !!! Started 8 hours after the second shot.
After dose one: muscle weakness, head like I have a mild concussion, (cotton feeling) chills, exhaustion, mild steely feel to the bones. Vision a bit off. I juice almost every day and walk/run 2 hours almost daily. No drugs. No drinking. Perfect blood report from VA clinic from just the other day.
The confusion over the lyrics of "I Want It That Way" is widespread and legendary. The Wikipedia article for the song has an entire section about it. The general consensus from pretty much everyone involved is that the lyrics don't make sense and it's just a catchy song!
I got Pfizer Dose 2 yesterday morning and was fine most of the day. At bedtime, about 12 hours later, I developed flu-like symptoms (aches, stiffness, chills, fatigue). Had a very rough, mostly sleepless night and feel pretty lousy still this morning 22 hours after the shot. My arm is quite sore, and I feel completely run down. I'm mentally alert, but my body is in charge right now.
After my second Moderna, all I had was a bit of arm soreness, which went away by the end of the next day. Arm was actually more sore after the first shot, which seems odd, but I'll take it.
I was told with Pfizer you get less soreness in your arm but they totally lied to me! Ever since I got the injection it's been pretty tender. I felt a pinch when the needle went in but my family that got the Moderna said they didn't even feel it go in!
Always appreciate this kind of discourse and sharing. I have my second shot coming up at the end of the month. Looking forward to getting over that hump.

Very deep sleep nap. Chills gone day 2 but serious nap was taken. Day 3 serious short nap but otherwise normal. Pain gone at injection site by day 3.
Hi from Colorado. 1st dose Pfizer headache and tired. 2nd dose slight headache. That's it. I worried needlessly. Everyone please get vaccine! God bless.

There is a school of thought that side effects and a reaction are a very good sign. Your immune system is kicking in and the vaccine is working. It's only for a short time - and two days later you're back to normal
Yes indeed I have fibromyalgia , I had Covid in Jan, my body was so horribly sore , by the grace of God I’ve made it thru. Not sure if taking the 2nd shot
Second Pfiser shot yesterday at 915am. Clamminess by noon. Injection site pain by 4pm. Fever, muscle aches and joint pain by 8pm. Slight inflammation at injection site by 9pm. Fever broke at 3am. Tired, achy muscles all day first full day. Feeling tired, crashing after attempts to do simple routine items. In general, this feels like my normal flu experience with chills and aches. Btw, absolutely NO symptoms from first dose. I'm 60 years old

After my first shot I was so sick! I mean, couldn’t get out of bed. My entire body hurt. It lasted about four days. I had a terrible headache and I am not getting my second one. No way
:-O The person did not aspirate before injection! Although the risk is low, it is standard procedure to aspirate (pull out on the plunger to make sure you didn't hit a vein) before an intramuscular injection.
There has been a lot of modern research that now suggests there is no clinical rational for aspirating in large muscle groups receiving intramuscular injection. Qualified nurse here :)
Got my second dose of pfizer and thought led got away with it, until about eight hours later. Upset tummy and itch all night. In the morning, im sore all over and feels like l have flu. Night time now and still feel like crap. Will go to bed early and hope im better by tomorrow. But this feeling will be better than getting covid.
I had a slight headache and felt tired for day for both shots. Very minor soreness at the injection site. The dumb move was I didn't go grocery shopping before getting the 2nd shot and had to go out when I was not feeling great. Dumb, stock up on your food before getting the shots. I get the flu shot annually and my reaction to that is way worse usually then the Pfizer vaccine. On the other hand a friend of mine who just turned 80 got his second shot of Moderna and was down and out of it for 4-5 days. You just don't know if what reaction you will have. But I'm grateful for the vaccine and all the healthcare workers vaccinating 2-3 million people a day. So tired of this pandemic.

My husband and i both had the phizer vaccines, and had zero adverse reactions. So we were glad of that.
Yes you guys are lucky.
@whesley hynes I wouldn't go that far.
Yay. I know your relieved.

Got the 2nd pfizer shot a month ago. Had no side effects what so ever. I'm good.
2nd pfizer shot has been awful. 6 full days of a fever of above 102. Most nights it has been 103. Sever cold, chill, aches, went with my brother and wife. Neither had much side effects to speak of.
Thank You for this great report on the Pfizer vaccine results. I also received the two Pfizer vaccines and had no side effects with either of the two.
Lucky me.
I got the first one and had some pretty bad arm pain and was tired for an entire day. Than I went to sleep and woke up the next day and felt great
My husbands experience here.
My partne, 82, had Pfizer both jabs with no side effects. I had 2 AstraZeneca jabs again no problems

All signs and symptoms of an inflammatory response, just a helluva' big one.
I'm sure a lot of the symptoms reported were psychosomatic. I've had mosquito bites that were more painful.
I had the second shot. No symptoms other than a sore arm which I barely noticed. I even exercised.
My symptoms, at 53 years old, were sore arm and headache. The symptoms were worse with first dose. Enjoyed the video.
Thanks to everyone for sharing your experiences! Seems like there's a huge variety of reactions, which is a good thing for people to keep in mind.

The nurse is so kind and explains well. Also she placed the round bandage something and injected on top of it... very curious...wish I could see it closer.
No reactions to pfizer 1 and 2. Most I talked to that had pfizer, no reaction. A little soreness no different than any other shot.
I'm about 10 days out from Pfizer 2, and had pretty much zero side effects, aside from some arm soreness. It's so interesting how differently people react to it. I have read that women are more likely to experience side effects than men, which seems to be borne out here.

Interesting to give the jab through a patch or bandaid. I have never had an injection like that. They usually jab me and then put on a bandaid if I bleed. I got severe chills for 30 minutes 18 hrs after dose and then some body aches and a slight fever but it all was gone after 90 minutes.
I appreciate the time taken documenting the side effects for the 3 of you.

I was not expecting the backstreet boys talk but.. I AM HERE FOR IT!
