2566th Buddha Jayanti Celebration at Bodhgaya, India.

The 2566th Buddha Jayanti was celebrated by the Bodhgaya Temple Management Committee on 16th May 2022 in collaboration with the local Buddhist Monasteries, devotees/pilgrims at Bodhgaya under the sacred Bodhi tree.
Venerable Monks, devotees and pilgrims along with School children joined the procession starting from the 80ft Great Buddha Statue to the Mahabodhi Temple at 7:30 am.
HE Shri Phagu Chauhan, Governor of Bihar was the Chief Guest on this occasion.
