what do you think about fire safety . alcohol is flammable and we are putting a pump in it .

Submersible motor in alcohol dangerous
Not practical model because there is a chance of fire of motor......But a good attempt....Not suitable for long run....
if motor shorts ... the blast will occur.
i do experimenting with this , dip the shorted motor into alcohol, when the power is on in few second a sanitiser booms

Very impressive. Don't you think it needs a cut out content view slot, or indicator so you know when the content is running low?
Level sensor and piezo electric buzzer will do the work

Nice video...i have request that pls make a video by using uv sensor in place of ir sensor. If we use uv sensor it works good on outdoor also.
Its like you also noticed that the sensor misbehave at the outdoor, the sun rays is triggering the ir even without any obstacle brought near the sensor...will using UV sensor solve this issue? Thanks

I made it . I have used sunboard sheet for the outer body which are using for building model.
You can extend the refill pipe till top. So its safe to fill the sanitiser from top without opening the back.
Instead, a long/tall bottle can be used whose neck-n-cover remains outside the top cover so that it can be easily refilled.

@@spyinsecret0075 I guess you can also try diaphragm pump. It's cheaper than a peristaltic pump. Make sure to instal a one way air-inlet valve in the storage tank, which opens and lets the air in when the pump operates.

It is possible but you have to dilute it.
YOU CAN USE any liquid with high density with dc pump.

Super bro i know how much hard work it takes to do it. I tried it using bc547 transistor instead of Tip 42 c bcoz it was not available in my locality ,but I'm not getting with it. Can u tell you it is not working with this transistor.
BC547 has very less collector current. you can't use it. Check: www.dnatechindia.com/blog/DIY-automatic-hand-sanatizer-explained for list of transistors you can use

No issues buddy as it is submersible pump. Just use the heat shrink sleeve on wire joints properly.
