It's fascinating to see you play guitar since the beginning of your channel I love how confident you are when doing guitar videos
Can you do another Halloween style video where you dress up like a witch or something and rock out with your guitar? We need that now more than ever. 🎃
I'm currently thinking about potential Halloween ideas! 👻
Whaaat!! I can’t believe you got the blue one😳 it really is an awesome looking guitar and what a cool idea to have all the goodies built in.
Beautiful one Rachel! Mooer always has been the best making smart guitars, so cool your metal riff, your awesome playing✨
I needed a new Rachelf video today.
Great review and demo. Interesting guitar. You've come a long way since you started. Awesome to see.
Thanks so much!
Rachel, I've been following you since you started your YT journey. I've watched you grow as a young woman, a guitarist and a "UA-camr." In my eyes you've done well in all arenas. However, I had to make my first comment after watching this video. Although you flew through this video at the speed of light, it was an excellent presentation. Very well done! You're getting very good at this. Kudos to you! Keep up the good work and best wishes for the future.
I appreciate it, thanks so much! 😁
Rachel- I was just listening to a Google Talk with Nita Strauss while working. Someone from the audience asked a question and it stopped me dead when I heard your voice. I had to dig my phone out of my pocket to see. It was like running into someone I know from back home in a foreign country.
Love your guitar playing so amazing
Always positive vibes. Love it. Continued success and fun! 🙏👍⚡️⚡️
I think keeping a guitar in the living room will boost your practicing! My guitars are in my living room, so I keep an extra in my bedroom. 🎸 This is a very pretty guitar. 😍 I loved all the little interesting video edits you did in the beginning. 🙂
This reminds me of my old Cort Effector guitar I had in the 80s. It had a bunch of built in effects built in to the guitar you access with push buttons. It wasn’t anything special but was a pretty cool guitar in the 80s.
That is cool! Hadn't heard of that guitar before. I always have a lot of fun with guitars like this :)
The Bond Electraglide in the mid-80's was even crazier, with digital controls and made out of carbon fiber.
I just dig watching you play. Your smile and enthusiasm for playing just inspires me to practice more. Have you ever covered MegaDeaths TRUST?
That finish is 🔥🔥
quite like the guitar looks well cool rach!
What a beautiful looking guitar !
Awesome finish. Incredible
It looks great in person too! Big fan of the color combination.
Beautiful guitar yo!
Hello everyone. I like the videos. Very personable and clearly explained. Thanks a lot for this. A while ago you introduced the Mooer P 800. Have you ever played this model P800 live at big gigs? Is this guitar suitable for big performances? Thanks so much. Andrew
good afternoon miss rachel it looks like a great guitar, with good balance and good sound. In addition to your good equipment, congratulations and greetings, I admire you
The finish and specs look really cool! Like a more modern Dark Night Strat! But its a same to hear about the uneven frets, though.
That is a Beautiful looking guitar!! I could just stare at it all day.
The finish is awesome!
Looks like a lot of fun. I would have liked to seen some digital recording with it.
I like it, thanks for the great review, but I wondered? I don’t think there is, but does the app include an acoustic simulation effect at all? Other than that it’s brilliant. Cheers 🥂 thanks
Awesome job Shred queen! The guitar looks pretty badass, but I would end up with option paralysis and spend more time tinkering with it than I would playing. Hahahaha
There definitely is a lot of tinkering potential if you let yourself 😁
wow! the action is sooo high, I can see it from my house even after your adjustment...
I think part of that is just a camera angle thing, it doesn't look so high in real life 😁
Yet another blue guitar!! MOOER is really stepping up their game in the guitar industry.
I honestly have never cared for bursts but that blue to black thing is pretty sic. I remember having a 'Cort Effector' back in the late 80's which was that era's version of this and it sucked!!! The good news is this seems pretty frickin' rad actually. The headphone and usb out features are way understated IMO. How cool to go right to your phone, beats the $$$ and hassle of a separate iRig or something of the likes. Cool product, cool unboxing. :)
The orange one the have in the link is fire IMO. :)
Yeah the ability to go straight to your phone is very convenient for quickly recording an idea or making TikTok style shorts :). I love being able to just plug in headphones as well! They do have a good color selection :)
@@RachelfGuitar Totally would have killed for one of these when I was a teen, LOL.
That's awesome! It's a great color!
I'm a big fan of the color combo!
@@RachelfGuitar it's elegant but can be heavy metal lol
nice guitar and playing!
Thank you!
Congrats
I love how the majority of these comments are about a court guitar from the 80s. Damn you guys have taste!!
Wow, you've come a long way! You really should try hard as nails to get in with the other 'Tubers, as well as some other musicians to play with!!
Hi there, thanks a lot for demo, I am looking into nick Johnston signature and this. You might have checked nicks model. For now let’s say only about guitar (built in fx aside ) which one do you recommend? Could you make a comparison video in the future? Much appreciated thank you.
Fat Strat as they are called cause of humbucker in the bridge. But this one is wonderful, really a great tool 😍
I believe some company tried these features before, but I hope they are able to download new firmware and sounds/tone features in the onboard systems. Other than that, looks great.
I actually got a firmware update on the guitar the first time I loaded up the app! So while I don't know how much they plan to update the guitar, they can definitely do so if you connect the app via Bluetooth
There's an order to setting up guitars.
always start with truss rod adjustments then raise or lower the saddles on the bridge. If you continue to tighten your truss rod( straighten the neck) and raise the saddles on the bridge, I assume you will get a lower action mid neck yet avoid fret buzz on the higher frets
I did start with the truss rod and then adjusted the saddles. In this specific case it seemed like the buzzing was concentrated around one fret higher up the neck, so I'm guessing there's something slightly off there. But will play around with it some more!
That guitar finish looks the same as the fender professional ll. Strat with roasted neck that has changeable and for 50% less than a Fender, Sweet deal!!
Nice! btw recently, as a Les Paul player, I decided to buy a strat and kind of inspired by you I decided on Ibanez RG. I tried one looking like yours, but it was made of Ash wood, and I already have a heavy guitar, so I bougth a lighter RG:) def easy to play, easier than LP. But I still prefer LP for their tone, you should try one!
That's cool! I believe my first RG is actually made of Ash too, it's super light. I really should try a LP style guitar someday :)
Looks awesome! But... the price... I think a James Tyler Variax would be a better option if you are seriously looking for on-board modeling, tunings etc
A quick question. If I connect the guitar to the iMac (via USB cable) while playing guitar and listening to a backing track... does the iMac registers both the guitar and the backing track ?????
In fact Mooer GE300 pedalboard registers only the guitar...
THANKS !!!
this reminds me of Gibsons Firebird X from like 10 years back. A guitar that flopped so hard Gibson recalled them all and had them ran over w/ a bulldozer...a video of it was on YT. Anyway, this guitar is leaps and bounds above the firebird X. it would be pretty nice to have a preset tone ready to go besides the natural pickup sound. strange how a small company can put out something that is actually innovative and useful instead of just dumb gimmicks like 'cough, cough' Gibson has been doing for decades now.
SO awesome! I was going to get a Dark Knight Stratocaster. I like this one because the jack is not on the front of the guitar like a strat. And this one has medium frets like a strat. Love the Dark Knight paint job on both Strat and this one. What country was this guitar made in? I cant find what country it was made in on their web site,
The finish is amazing! The box says the guitar was made in China.
9:10 the size of neck joint also make the tone more thick like charvel san dimas and so cal , also the vintage ibanez rg and paul gilbert''s pgm hss
Yeah the neck joint is just a preference thing, I know many prefer this style too!
@@RachelfGuitar easier to play higher frets
Blue and Black guitars always look so cool! Do you have a favorite preset on this guitar?
I think for riffs my favorite is probably the "massive" preset :)
actually , same software but with hum-cancelling pickups and Wilkinson bridge
Hi, what is the difference between the 800 and 801?
❤️
❤️🥰
Interesting 3:49 . Have you written it ?
Have you tried writing some original music with vocals? I bet you'll slay it🤘
Hello !!! Bonne vidéo !!!😃😘
Rachelf I Like Your Guitar 🎸 😂
Can it do the Spanky strat thing?
I mostly play distorted tones so I'm not the best to comment on that, but I'm sure there are some more clean focused demos out there too! The Single coil pickups are GTRS branded hum-cancelling (upgraded from the ones in the S800).
What is the pickups
How are you so happy? maybe you should make video about it too
do u think its worth $150 more for the p800 over the s801?
Mostly depends on how much the hardware upgrades (stainless steel frets, locking tuners, etc.) matter to you. The software is the same between the two. I personally do think I would get the p800, mostly just because I prefer the look of the finish and neck, but both are great options for what they do!
@@RachelfGuitar all it really is, is locking tuners, diffrent picups, and the neck thats diffrent on the p800
Can You Do Everlong By Foo Fighters Pls?
It’s My Favourite Song By Foo Fighters & I Love This Song
Those presets sound pretty good
Haha first i think probably not but wow
Holy quackeroni nice guitar
Id rather have a California built Dark Night than a Chinese copy! 🙂
WHAT!!! will they think of next????
left handed?
As far as I know there isn't currently a left handed model available.
@@RachelfGuitar shame it looks great
She’s adorable 🤓
♥️🌷👍🏻
Rachel looks great. Takes attention away from the guitar this time.
I decent headphone amp is like 100 dollars , so not the slightest bit interested in a guitar with built in digital amp.
Thanks so much. Great gear info from awesome girl. Wanna get married?
I love your channel but these tones are awful
Pretty subjective, though I'm not super picky when it comes to tones myself. The 4 defaults aren't my favorite, but I like many of the presets in the app and there is a lot of ability to tweak the tones to your liking as well. From my perspective, it isn't meant to compete with more expensive modeling systems; it really shines as a fun guitar for playing without being connected to a guitar rig or a computer.
@@RachelfGuitar it is fun for sure, but I don't find any other appliances for these kind of products so 800$ just for having some fun makes no sense to me
But I'm so happy for you because mooer is such a big brand and being sponsored by them is a honour
I have a fender American professional 2 jazz bass guitar in dark knight finish
Awesome, love this type of finish!
So when do we get married?🥰🥰
