I remember watching this video on MTV's MuchMusic after my family & I moved to Canada from the middle east in the mid-90's while I was a pre-teen & this specific video at the time impacted me a lot ... like discovering a whole new music genre & while I wasn't sure if the lead singer was a male or female at the time, I found him really attractive. ^_^

I do understand how some may think showing a suicide situation in a video is wrong and that it may even be 'copied'.I dare say it's not beyond the realms of possibility for someone to watch this and think about/or even do it themselves.But I do think if some poor soul has reached the point where life is so unbearable,they feel they have no other choice but to jump off a building to end their suffering.Unfortunately,they're going to do it whether they watch this or not.And I'm pretty sure no one will think they can walk down a building......So IMO,I think the director/placebo made a unique and powerful video which is certainly not gloryfying suicide.
