I now have a much better understanding of their pens and will shop them more. I thought they were just a Yafa brand of pens that were overpriced and under made. I'm thankful for the education.
Thank you for this video. I really liked it a lot. I have a special admiration for Montegrappa. When I started my blog (even before I had the UA-cam channel) back in 2011 they were one of the best brands that were willing to provide me information to produce contents for the blog. And then, I got some pens from them to test and review. While I don't identify myself with all of their very bold designs I have to admire their crativity and artistic sensibility, to the point I got to buy a older model - a Montegrappa Oriental Zodiac Dragon - expensive, silver overlay, flamboyant... but beautiful and a relliable writer. Now, one of my grail pens is one from them - the recent Extra Hi-Tech. Very unconventional and with unexpected materials... Unfortunately too expensive for my pocket. So, ending all this rambling around: I wish I was in your place visiting the factory of that very special brand. Congratulations for the video.
the amount of time, effort and quality control that montegrappa does is incredible, but their pens are so boring and uninspiring, they have such an obsession with the fortuna but you rarely hear anyone talk about the pen, sure there are plenty of reviews but you don't hear anyone bragging about owning a fortuna or any of their other models or saying my grail pen is a montegrappa blank, plus they make it next to impossible to own one of their italic pens, $250 for a 1.1 mm/1.5 mm ducale (that's a steel nib people) and a $525 for a montegrappa monte grappa thank you for the video
What truly ugly things these pens are, they look like something that has dropped out of a Christmas cracker ! The mystery to me is what sort of person would actually buy one of these hideous things, I imagines someone in the drug selling cartel would be the target market, ostentatious bling!
So blessed to have seen the fountain pen factories.
God bless you.
Love my Montegrappas and thank you for taking us behind the scenes. Enjoyed the tour of the celluloid stock room.

Love it, a model for all business.
I will get one into my collection.
We are happy to help!
Fascinating! Thanks for a behind-the-scenes look at luxury pen manufacturing.
Thank you Mr.Joost for this lovely video. Now all writing instrument users will know how Montegrappa pens are made and the craftsmanship behind them.
Kunal Gupta that was the main reason for this series!
Mooi en leerzaam! Dank je Joost
I have even greater respect for their pens now. Well done.
