This is such a creative construct it should be studied by lots of other disciplines, not just gearheads. Top marks for originality, humor, fearlessness, positive attitude, and guts. You are the BEST.
Mayhaps not a smooth ride, my condolences, but the model of your beast is perfect for these tracks! Next to none overhang and I imagine low center of gravity. Incredible build!
These two are a perfect Dumb & Dumber imitators, the only difference is that they are smart, inteligent and self sufficient!! cheers guys!! you are the best!! love your videos!!
Years ago, I saw a Dune rail built like that. It had a 392 Hemi power and was a Dodge cab set on a narrowed Dodge 1/2 ton PU frame, with the cab in the back.
That is so cool 😎 it reminds me of my RAM 2500 Cummins when I'm towing my 5R it's all over the road. Been looked at several times lots of new parts. It's just a RAM with Crappy Engineering , I only keep it for the power of the Cummins. If it ever falls apart I might chop up something like that Van and put The big Ol Cummins in it. I could probably pull down a skyscraper with it.
The fact that you had working windshield wipers absolutely floored me. I'm going to have to rethink my opinion of you guys. Surprises like this do not fit with your model of vehicle building. 🧐
Probably want to go with a bellcrank up front, like the WW2 Jeeps, might help with the bumpsteer. Maybe integrate the scoop/aircleaner into an engine cover for mutual support. Great video. Greater vehicle!
Drives exactly like my classic rally car did ... after i crashed it into a pile of rocks and front left corner was crooked up and in by 2 inches. Last leg was about 120 miles, it was sketchy as hell. It did everything else but driving straight
I double dawg dare you to make a Civair. A Citation front with a Corvair back. It would have two engines and four-wheel drive. Think of the advantage of being able to use either or both engines. It has to have a trailer hitch to tow the Cortation with the front of the Corvair and the back of the Citation behind it for its gas tanks. You may be the person to do it!
so what do you do with a Frankenstein's monster of a car like this after the event? I love the battery cover! though i would have moved it back to sit next to the fuel tank where it looks more natural.
I am 47 years old, I have been a interprovincal Licensed Mechanic for 22 years. You wer able to get 2 of these vans around where you live., I have never seen 1 in Person let alone 2....lol
Great vid, looked like great fun on the run. My question is did you compare the tetanus outline to a gremlin? I mean just look 6 cylinders wierd back end "inspiration"!
Great video! Flashbacks were really good to have in there! The shots where the camera stayed still while the car was doing donuts, is that done with a electronic steady cam mount type deal or a 360 degree camera?
Glad you liked it Tom! The trick shot was a 360 GoPro, they are amazing! This is the first time we used this one. It was also the dash mounted camera for a lot of those internal shots. The software is amazing but also takes a lot of time to edit...
If you don't have anything better to do later, take the pu box of a 63 Ecoline and use it in the front as an engine shroud, Borise would be Happy Happy New Year 2023
Unfrickin’ believable……awesome…..Kudos on your Frankenstein creation……”Tetanus”name fits…….Good Luck in the Gambler…….👍👍👍👍👍👍👍…… 4:18 Only in America……..🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
When an old Econoline tries to do the limbo & submarines under a semi trailer...everything but the cab end sorta stays put @ first...the rebound pushes the motor forward more...
That's great guys. The bump steer isn't your fault, I had one of those vans, they always drive like that, Mine had brakes on only one wheel, and the exhaust smell inside was unbearable. Good times (: Check out my nephew's channel, he's in Kamloops too, it's called canadian kayaking couple. You may see me on the gambler one day. Take care.
Something I can't grasp my European head around is US road policy. More often than not, whenever the US police stops a driver for exceeding the speed limit they proceed as if the poor guy was trying to assassinate Lincoln again. Meanwhile you can drive down the road with a DIY contraption that was obviously designed by bunch of bloody dunked muppets, made of parts of a dishwasher, a stream locomotive, the fuselage of a wrecked Huey found in the jungles of Vietnam with the skeleton of the pilot still attached to the seat and somehow this is legal. That's fun though.
" THAT" has to be one of the very best gatherings
Wow, thank you!

Wow, thank you!
Way outside of today's societal norms and right on the mark. Too good!
Mayhaps not a smooth ride, my condolences, but the model of your beast is perfect for these tracks! Next to none overhang and I imagine low center of gravity. Incredible build!
Best video I've seen all day :)
Congrats on finishing the Gambler in a car that actively tries to kill you!
Best comment ever!
Now that you put it that way... seems true!
Good clean weird Canadian fun!
Sure is!
Sweet trails n rig it just popped up in my feed so NOW I'm gonna be watching everything y'all do lol

Even better than I expected! And a trophy too!!😂🎉
THAT is one Crazy looking Vanhicle!
Bill, from Tn. 🇺🇸
I used to live in Salmon Arm. … great to see the country side …. And the wonderful people that live n the area …
These cars were all pretty cool but I like the Festiva being towed by the Batt Turd from the 2019 flashback. Mine is the same color.
This is good stuff ! Funny and entertaining. Cool ! 😎
British Columbia seems like the greatest place on Earth to live.
Especially if you're a little outside the box like me.
These two are a perfect Dumb & Dumber imitators, the only difference is that they are smart, inteligent and self sufficient!! cheers guys!! you are the best!! love your videos!!
Should try putting some shocks And a plate for that speedomegirl before the next one
Good car/truck contraption you and your friends made. I laughed a little. 😆
That year would have been my first gambler, but I read the highway sign wrong and we vacationed in Minnesota instead.

The speedometer sounded like a train. Stumbled upon you guys, new subscriber, not going back in time to watch the old ones. Thanks.

My insides hurt watching. still a neat build.
This looks like a blast. Insanity!

Looks like something you’d drive in rust 😂

Hindsight being 20-20 would you replace the air cleaner with a Pod instead?
Lol Wayne quote, where is Scott storch when you need him 😂 💯
Just found this, very cool!
Creativity at it's best!
Like riding in the back of a school bus.
Something you might see in a Cheech and Chong movie reboot. 👍👍👍😆 🌿🍀🍃🍃🍃🍃🍃
Great idea. Might try it on a vw camper. Maybe even put 4 WD.
looks like you broke a motor mount also
Hope to see you at one soon! Will you be at OG22?
It's on our to do list for sure! Just have to see how plans go...
I am VERY interested in knowing more about that knife you used to make a gasket at 4:16 What is it and where can I get one?
Great vid, looked like great fun on the run. My question is did you compare the tetanus outline to a gremlin? I mean just look 6 cylinders wierd back end "inspiration"!
You should try chopping other vehicles the same way as you did Ford Van.
the american dream
Oh crap I can’t stop laughing… and I want one! LoL 😂😂😂😂
Nice can sticker on your coke at 9:14! 😂
En 6'05 se puede escuchar a 9 docenas de amantes de los Honda mordiéndose las uñas al unísono. Muy curioso vuestro juguete. Have funn. Salud 🤙
you have to brace that air cleaner or it will break at the bottom.
We're cool Reg I like to think and out of the Box great job
1 rule of the back road: Always bring a winch
The 97 Civic DX at 6:05 makes me so happy.

Let me guess, your steering arms weren't equidistant with your control arms?
DANG SUUN! WHAT DID YOU BUILD??
You should have shaken the bottle lol.
This vehicle is great, I would drive it every day. Just fix that bump steer lol
When trail break downs...which are the oxymoron of helping to make things more fun as long as you have the means to get going again...even more fun...
Did you break an engine mount?

I'm new here. Best thing I seen since MORRVAIR.
A classic video, excellent.
Where was The Gambler held and do they have anything like it on the East Coast

Any time a vid makes me lol, gets a quick subscribe and like. "The 5 pound air cleaner was shaking the carb apart"
Thank you, welcome!
How many zip ties did you use to hold it all together?
I love it

I'd look cool with a jeep doghouse

Yup, that's one way to describe it.
