1:00 It's pretty easy for them to get from island to island. Tropical storms uproot trees which create a raft. They can travel on this for months and months until they hit land

To whom it may concern and may like to investigate I found a small Island in South Eastern Oklahoma @ Broken Bow Lake I witnessed a huge Lizard Estimated length 12 inches climb up a southern pine tree on the island out of view I didn't get a good look of it but I have often wondered if it could have been a extinct species of Giant anoles or like Canada geese a giant of the species somehow being isolated on the island without predators I wish I had gotten a better look this was about 1972 It climbed up the tree so fast it was unbelievable but I truly saw it I also found a species of a plant called the dwarf Iris up the mountain fork River growing on the bank very beautiful and unexplored country so many places that haven't been explored ❤

I wonder when I can get into such Institutes, I am just in the general morphometry ,I wish one day I would be in the lane of evolutionary biology, and be a part of such studies and documentries! Wonderful organisms and wonderful people!

@@TheFos88 wow I'm really happy that you reminded me this comment, which remembered me where I am now. Yea hopefully I got into the track. I am working as a Project Associate in a project entitled "The Ecology and Evolution of Sleep in Reptiles" at the Indian Institute of Science,Banglore. As far as of now,Its really cool and fun to look around for different species ) Mainly through the Western ghats). I have reached something around 457 individuals of 6 different species around India. These Data are in terms of Morphometry, habitat, and other experimental data. It's really fun and a special happiness when someone's reminding of, where I was and where I am is still on lane. Thanks a lot for this comment @Zacorin.

No he just caught it… they are very squishy and will just wiggle in your hand when you do that. He knows how to catch them right.

THIS lizard is similar to the species in my country?,... WHY?,..
I'm in North Borneo right now.

Too much time and money wasted on proving the theory of Evolution, and hardly any footage of the Anoles themselves. Funny how the Recommendation Algorithm works
Just hoping to see some battles, and feeding, and color changing... maybe some birds and cats catching them... Mantids? Scorpions? Oh, well...
I had several Anoles when I was younger... not the brightest species. Fun though.
