Mother of god. Failure gives us the new rekkid with Troy Van Killer. As God intended. This IS the holy grail of Faiure shows. If you think differently you have a man bun.
So true. They sounded *pristine* at the show I was at. Local H opened -- who I love -- but their live sound is typically a mess. When Failure hit the stage it was night and day.
1:24:10 I remember in the Golden DVD Greg saying that while himself and Ken tended to get down and go through black moods on the Fantastic Planet tour Troy and Kellii tended to almost totally counteract that. You can tell these guys are great friends and still mess around to this day
the songs are so dialled in. No other rock band I know of has come close to honing their songs and parts to this level, without resorting to fretwank or electronics.
I was at this show with a buddy of mine. His mind was blown. He had never seen these guys live. Thanks for uploading this. Great show. Ken live sounds like Ken on the albums
Yes! This is absolutely fantastic!!! I was there that night(Local H, and ...Trail of Dead) and Failure sounded amazing and the best with Troy on guitar
it's an amp modeler ... fake amps basically. but here's the thing: would you have known had it not been pointed out? would any one know if they weren't honest about what they were using?
One thing I am disappointed with is the remake of I can see houses. Its probably just me but i prefer the original, much lighter sounding and that fretless bass was to die for.

All digital amps/mods will do that. Best sounding live band I’ve ever seen.

No one does live sound better than this band. Take note children.
Tony Michael except for Meshuggah
Tony Michael guitars could use more mids ;)

Gregs a monster on guitar
Greg and Ken switch between Bass and lead guitars effortlessly. Just amazing. Fantastic Planet got me through college, man.
right? who does that?
Hope they could bring Troy more often for recordings and some live shows, the man is a gem.
Troy just adds a perfect layer to already masterful band.

Hahaha fret wank haha

they're amongst the best playing today... still
Wish Troy was a full time member.
excellent work - quality is very good - Failure is super underrated - I Can See Houses ... man ...

Front row vid!
Holy shitsnacks! Audio source killer!
Fuck yes.
Love them so much….❤️
Best part? Troy doing the Dirty Blue Balloons solo.
Can't thank you enough for posting what has to be the best crowd filmed Failure show I've found on UA-cam
That was such an amazing show! Thanks for posting this so I can relive it all!
They are all talented musicians, but Greg on Bass... my god!!
Love these guys. Thanks for the recording.
Ken is such a beast.
como suma la presencia de troy.
Crushing.
Thanks for posting this, man! Looks and sounds great. If only that photographer would get out of your shot with his bid bald head!
Triffin You're the photographer, aren't you? ;)
So awesome!
a reference to track 10 on lateralus?
Yes :)
AAA band, and yeah, this is how sound should be done! Not too loud, everything balanced and natural sounding. Mad that they use AxeFX and not amps!
What's axefx?
it's an amp modeler ... fake amps basically. but here's the thing: would you have known had it not been pointed out? would any one know if they weren't honest about what they were using?
You're mad because you didn't see amps, and it didn't look as cool
