Everyone is assuming that this regime was built on thin air? It was built and its oppression relied on the total support of this one community, it is not black and white no, but most of these people were spared the Russian treatment. It is safe to say their cooperation with the former regime saved them from destruction. Therefore, its boldly inaccurate to assume most people who had it relatively good in these areas wherent involved in Assads buisness. Theh had a vested intrest in its contninuation. Remember, this area held out longer than Damascus for a reason. And the fact that most just bow over, "we support the new government, we had nothing to do with the old one" then why would the people in this area hold out for long when all else was lost. Its sketchy at best, maybe it would be best for this region to prove their goodwill and support the build up of the rest of the country, with funds etc. but alas, nothing.
@@guriii1438 Just to be clear: Syrian oil is miniscule, accounting for less than $4 billion in revenue for Syria prior to the war. Their oil reserves could not even cover their own domestic needs, and Syria had to import most of the oil needed to fulfill domestic consumer demands. US forces were in that area for a number of reasons. 1) Those oil facilities were previously controlled by ISIS. 2) In 2015, The Assad regime was caught financing ISIS through a Russian-Syrian businessman named George Haswani, who paid ISIS $50,000 per month (as well as hundreds of barrels of oil and 50+ gigawatts of electricity) to protect the oil production equipment in their territory. The regime had been warned numerous times about making deals with ISIS, which Assad ignored. 3) US troops remained in the region to enforce the Caesar Act sanctions, which were put in place when a former regime military photographer leaked tens of thousands of photographs of thousands of Syrian prisoners who were torr cherred to de+h. (thank UA-cam for my need to use euphemisms and misspellings). 4) In order to provide the Assad regime with the oil that its military needed, Iran was forced to sail tankers all the way around the Southern tip of Africa (Suez Canal cannot handle such ships). Several tankers were seized over the years by the UK as they passed near Gibraltar, as they were breaking international sanctions. Before you say "Iran can do business with whoever they want": Iran strenuously denied the tankers were headed for Syria, hence proving that they indeed knew they were breaking the law which they too were expected to follow. With the third point: The US essentially prevented the Assad regime from producing fuel needed to continue military operations, as well as causing the collapse of loyalist support, evident in the fact that no Syrians were willing to defend Assad just a few weeks ago. It's safe to assume that the US occupation of Syrian oil fields over the past several years, was a major factor in the regime's collapse: Even longtime loyalists were not willing to bear living any longer with a failed country, knowing anything would be better than Assad remaining in power and continuing the stagnant situation. You can stick with your juvenile "US just wants oil" logic all you want, but alas, the facts align with what I have said, and no amount of denial is going to erase that.

See AJ has changed their tune🧐
those peole like that woman from germany has nothing to do in syria she already has a life and a home in germany she was born there. Why go to a broken rittle with war country and say I am here to claim my land and roots. She looks nothing like the locals of that country syria.
So no right to return in Syria.
Perhaps you want a purity test to be a Syrian
@@jeffnorris8848 I don't think you understand. The same thing with he white ''jewish'' people they claim to be jews but the bible talks about them. In other words, you're tying to take their land by lying.
''Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.'' Revelations 3:9
For example where I'm from I know who we are and how we all look than we have white people say '' oh I'm this im that' and I'm looking at them like bruh you don't look like me why are you claiming to be my people? We know who are the real ones and who are the fake ones not just cuz they dress like us they don't fool us. But it's way too deep for you to understand. In order to be of that people you have to have a bloodline and most those people claiming to be them have zero of that bloodline.
So whose guarding the border at the Golan Heights?
Lets all remember that most of these "rebels" are not Syrian.
Dumb
Youre just mad that the neo fascist baath party of syria got deposed. HTS has done a great job at governance, they marginalized salafist islam, improved the quality of life for the people living in their controlled areas, they improved electrical infrastructure for their people to the point where it was on average better when compared to anywhere else on Syria. Bashar's most noticeable act since the last cease fire wqs allow Syria to become the center of Captagon trafficking, a highly addictive drug.

@AustrianPainter14 neocon? Im a socialist, im 100% pro palestine, i just dont take sides like conservatives and my other lefty pals, for example i support ukraine, despite their far right problems this war has always been due to russian imperialism and far right rises with russian aggression consistently, israel on the other hand is trying to become an ethno state. Stop taking sides and consume diverse media.

None of them get deployed to push Israel off Syrian territory?
The Sky News news channel reported« the increase in the number of martyrs of the Israeli drone attack on the "Adra" area in the suburbs of Damascus to 17 people and several wounded.»
While Yemen defends Palestine with all its might, Turkey guaranteed Israel's security by occupying Syria by Tahrir al-Sham. If Erdoğan was a friend of the people of Syria, Lebanon and Palestine, he would not have paved the way for Israel to attack Syria in such a situation.
Have you noticed how the focus has shifted to Syria? Well done Israel. You were told. For Israel has spoken.

Fully in support of Hayyat Tahrir Al Sham under Abu Mohammed Al Jolani also known as Ahmed Al Sharaa. The new government in acting in the full interest of the Syrian people and is not discriminating against anyone not even against the Alawites. That having been said if there are remnants of the Bashar Al Assad regime adamant on staging a counter revolution the new government is perfectly entitled putting a half to that and stop any such an attempt in it's tracks. On top of the agenda are peaceful negotiations with the State of Israel and Foreign Minister Gideon Saar will do well coming to terms with Ahmed Al Sharaa as soon as possible thank you very much and enjoy your day ☺️☺️
Alawites have the right to exist, they are a distinct ethnic and religious population, as Ukraine if you want.
Russia's government has played the ethnic card to divide nations and create wars long enough. Let syrians live in peace and figure out how to respect each other please.
If your name is the butcher, why let them take you alive.

Can I still fly there as a tourist?
Have some patience.
Aleppo and Damascus international airports will open up for international flights soon enough.
Aleppo, Idlib and Damascus are already VERY safe right now. At least compared to previously. I'd still wait a few months if I were you.
Non syrians should stop interfering with Syria.
Qatari zionism full blown: "Assad strongholds" instead of Alawite and Shia population. Ziowahabism.
900 US soldiers are there, don't dream of peace
2,000 but who's counting 😂
As well as an estimated 7,000 Russians, which have definitely caused more problems for Syrians than the Americans ever did.
Good that the Islamic colonizers to Europe are returning to Syria. End Islamist colonization to Europe
The americans strangely have their bases on Oil locations. Theres no other reason why they are there@MrSlanderer
The brothers will deal with this problem, they expected and prepared for a war. I suspect there will no problem in dealing with an insurgency.
