As a young dude, I was with a lot of older women. One of them was 2x my age. That being said, I’m my 40’s. All of my chicks are younger than me. There is no power struggle. I am the boss. With everything that I’ve had to overcome to become the man that I am today. There is no way in the world that I would get heavily involved with someone who was not with me during my struggles but who also doesn’t have much left in the tank. @DanandVon no I could no see it at the time she was not the right woman for me not because of her age the way she acted when she was drinking my mother seen it she even was going to pay me not to marry her.turn out after I got married to her 3 months later the dark side of her she would never cook or have anything ready when I got back in town she said she was married 2 time but found out I was her 5th husband she cheated I spent 14 1/2 years in marriage tried to make it work I divorce her on the ground of adultery & alcoholic abuse.i found out she had pass away 10 years ago from a friend of mine before he pass away 3 months ago from cancer. I divorce her 5/22/2009
Im 65. and have a longtime Sister friend who is in her late 70's who married her husband whos 12 years younger. Her and i would have discussions often about the older woman/younger man scenario and she shared her experience with me because ive always been attracted to younger men..well theyve been married many years..She would say age is nothing but a number..if uts genuine chemistry..thats all that matters. When it comes to what the world may say about couples and health expectations are that the older person will have issues..BUT in her case, her husband became ill..snd now shes "HIS" caregiver..and hes 12 years younger! ..so anything can happen either way. I feel that what you focus on together along with the combination of your love chemistry, mindset, mutual dreams/vision if what yall want to create together..plus diet...can be a beautiful life...im still staying open to that idea..even at 65..because i dont "feel" my physical age...i feel more vibrant now than when i was in my 40's-50's

I would have nothing in common with a guy 20 or 30 years younger, heck, I wouldn't be interested in a guy even 10 years younger but that is me. I have also never been interested in guys younger than me even when I was growing up and on the other hand I am not interested in men too much older either. In my opinion, I have always thought that women and men interested in much younger mates usually have some trauma in their background and there are probably issues with stunted maturity. Sure, some folks may simply prefer younger men and/or women for other reasons as there are always exceptions to everything (meaning other reasons)- perhaps money, wanting to be kept/someone to take care of them, and/or the youger person helps the older person "feel" youthful. So i remain single, but have occasional dabbling. Not often, but every now and then. I feel like having a man that much younger makes no sense for me. I look a lot younger, but i am my age and things can come up health wise and maybe they do not want to be tied down to an older woman with medical issues. Otherwise i do not care, my daughter is 30 and knows i date younger and does not care.
If you're man 30 years old and the woman you're dating is now 40, it's not a big deal. However, if you're a 60 year old man and she's now 70 years old, that do change things.

She was the most honest, loyal, understanding and supportive woman I ever met in my life. And that is not my only example of older women who were amazing and supportive individuals.
