YES! Glad to see you guys got one! It'll make homestead life a lot easier. It was great to see you and the dogs getting stuff dome around there and having fun doing it. You and Angel stay well up there, brother. I'll be in touch. S/F Okay...Bjorn Beerbringer was just the best thing I've seen today. Go Bjorn!!! 🍻
The dawgs made it for me. We had Pack Rat issues. I was removing a huge areas of Tams Junipers with a Bobcat excavator. Once my dawg found out about the rats....we had a special bonding moment. Small eyes ~ happy dawgs!
I’ve always wanted to ask this question what is the difference in a homestead and a farm.. I grew up on a farm I live on a farm!i see and hear that word so much, homestead homesteads and it seems like it come from reality television!!because I see the same things on farms as I see ppl say on the homestead..just curious is it just the new word for farm or just regional thing or because ppl don’t own 1000’s of acres and big farm equipment..I’m so confused
My understanding, and they way I use the word, is that a farm is already established. I grew up on a hobby farm that my father purchased from the previous farmer that had purchased it from a farmer before him. It had been around for about 100 years before my dad bought it. The original folks that cleared the land, erected the first structures, raised the first crops, etc... were the homesteaders. I am a homesteader. I purchased 30ish acres of property that was commercial timberland, has no infrastructure on it, and needs to be cleared and worked to make it into a farm. I will eventually build my house there after I have water, electricity, and a place to park my RV under while I build. Hope this helps. Cheers!
