Did you find the cause of the stiff rear brake? I recently got a 2000 RS imported from the US. The rear caliper looks brand new inside. Once rebuilt and bled it still has very little travel on the lever.
@@TheWeeBaldyBiker Pistons are moving freely. I took the master cylinder apart this weekend and rebled. It still has very little movement in the pedal, but it'll quite easily lock the rear wheel. Maybe I'm just used to other bikes.

Same fairing design as mine. Mines actually a 56 plate old model with the AM6. Crank and Top End being rebuilt

One of the pistons was seized solid. Are your pistons moving freely and also there's adjustment on the rod coming out of the master cylinder.
