Update & Upgrade (DO FIRST):
sudo dnf upgrade --refresh
Enable RPM Fusion:

Install NVIDIA Drivers:
rpmfusion.org/Howto/NVIDIA
Install Favorite Apps:
sudo dnf install vlc gimp gparted kdenlive
Install GNOME Tweak Tool:
sudo dnf install gnome-tweak-tool
Install Timeshift backup:
sudo dnf install timeshift
Install Preload:
sudo dnf copr enable elxreno/preload -y && sudo dnf install preload -y
Firefox Tweaks:
about:config
layers.acceleration.force-enabled
gfx.webrender.all
Change DNS:
8.8.8.8,8.8.4.4
Speed up DNF:
echo 'fastestmirror=1' | sudo tee -a /etc/dnf/dnf.conf

Install DNFDragora:
sudo dnf isntall dnfdragora
Install GNOME Extensions:
dnf install chrome-gnome-shell gnome-extensions-app
Install KDEConnect:
sudo dnf install kdeconnectd
Install Steam:
sudo dnf install steam
Better Fonts:
sudo dnf copr enable dawid/better_fonts -y
sudo dnf install fontconfig-font-replacements -y

Install Bleachbit:

@@pavelkosov Linux Mint is a lightweight distro based on Ubuntu, you do things you do in Ubuntu in Linux Mint also. One of the main differences would be the desktop environment, as Ubuntu comes with GNOME and Mint have Cinnamon, MATE, and XFCE.

I have been exploring Linux since 2014. I have used almost every distro. Fedora 18 was my first one.
Right now I have a "Macbook Pro" 2012 Model. Configurations are as follows:
256 SSD, 500 GDD, i5 3rd Gen, 16 GB RAM, intel inbuilt graphics. On this OLD machine, I have tried every distro, and have been following your channel since long. Fedora 34 is performing the BEST, and the steps you've added, when followed properly, the machine works like a charm..! Thank you so much for creating such an amazing video! You are seriously very loyal to your susbcribers!

This is probably my favorite Linux channel. Could you do a video comparing all the mobile Linux distros side by side? I haven’t seen it from any channel on UA-cam, and I was thinking about showing the performance, customizability, layout of basically everything, software and hardware compatibility, etc.

I did notice that you used rsync with timeshift instead of btrfs(because you didn't used the root as a sub volume during installation). A future follow up video would be great regarding this.

The nvidia driver is a must because of the inbuilt fan control. And it‘s really fast.
Do all of these operations or just install the KDE Plasma spin and get majority of things out from the box + 10000 tons of system customization settings as bonus.

I have already intsalled Fedora 34 with Gnome 40, but it does not switch to the laptop-mode from the tablet mode. I am expecting a solution for that. I am using Dell Inspiron 2in1 laptop.

for me i recommend to customize the dnf config first, then install rpm fusion and upgrade the system

I suspect this list was for a previous version of Fedora. Quite a few of the things mentioned here dont work on Fedora 38 :(
Please put a video on how to enable hibernate mode in fedora 34. We would be eagerly waiting for it.
One of the problems I face with Linux is the unavailability of Drivers. Few years back, I made a switch from Windows 10 to Ubuntu 18.04 and saw a significant improve in the performence. Later I upgraded it to Ubuntu 20.04. Although the performance increases, my Wifi and Bluetooth card stopped working. Now I'm using an Ethernet cable. Trivial things like this matters a lot in terms of long term. I hope the community finds some solution.
I don't think you'll face any problems like that in Fedora. I had the same problems then too, which was the reason I checked out other distros (of which Fedora out-of-the-box worked for everything I've connected).
The first thing I do on a fresh linux install is change the colors on the terminal :o)

I use Manjaro Gnome because all of these issues are really done and fixed. Manjaro also has better hardware/software support compared to Fedora.
