That final match is a very good example of why playing a smaller fire king package in fire king snake-eyes is reeeeaally bad. If Pak had played a second island it would’ve been GG. Also soul release and crow hurt infinitely more when you only play 1 garunix, 1 ponix etc. I think people are gonna underestimate how badly of a grind fire king snake-eyes loses without enough fire king cards.
TBF they coulda beat soul release , 2 garunix is 100% incorrect at that point i would just cut all the fire king cards and play pure snake eye
@@TheDBGrinder crow still hurts though. I guess in my testing I’ve always found that having a bigger fire king in the fire king deck gives me a big advantage in grind game and playing through disruption. Also makes cards like soul release and crow which you can’t always play around, less impactful, though I also side Lancea so soul release isn’t really a card I care about much anyways.

For all those saying to out all fire king engine, please dont forget Kirin is a real card that lets you dodge so much while also having an insane GY effect. Not a pro player by any means but cutting the engine entirely seems crazy to me

The fact that people cutting it out is absurd with promthean princess coming out.
The Fire King cards are better as a larger package, so playing them over the dedicated Snake Eye cards makes you having fewer flex slots. I personally see them as two completely different decks. FK should be splashed with 1 Garunix, 1-3 Ponix, 2-3 Arvata, 3 Kirin, 0-1 Barong, 1 Sanctuary, 2 Island; that's a minimum of ten cards for an engine instead of adding 1 field spell, 1 more Flamberge, and 1 more Populus. As much as I like the FK cards, it's just too much space for too little payoff in Snake Eye. Better off splashing Snake Eye in FK instead; same end results with more main deck power cards.
its fair, snake eye cards are the main part of the deck (im still on fire king but ive been thinking of switching)

3v3 lets say. Two ppl from each team duel and the losing duelist is knocked out from their team. The winner stays and faces a new opponent from the opposing team. First team to lose all their players loses.

@@TheChocolateSailor19 no, this is how SP should have been worded to avoid confusion. The only reason it still works in TCG is that this is part of the effect and not a condition, making it unnecessarily more complex. For example something like wouldn't work:
A wording like Bahamut Shark would have been the better solution. TCG is already confusing enough with Conditions VS Continuous effects (For example Burning Abyss VS Rusty Bardiche)
