Kapusniak pastry looks delicious. I'll need to try it this summer while on my visit to Poland. I'm not sure if you have ever tried kapusniak soup. I remember really liking it when I was little. Anyway, I totally believe you regarding the gastro problems you experienced in the U.S. It is so difficult to obtain fresh, non-processed and truly organic, local food/produce here in the U.S. I shop at Whole Foods and spend ridiculous amount of money each week (with inflation/price hikes it's more than $300 per week.) And most of the produce is not even local. We get so much produce from Mexico or even as far as New Zealand. You know that organic produce lost a lot of its nutritional value being transported that far. Yes, there are weekend farmers markets (usually operating April through October), but they are open only on the weekends/for a limited time/and with very limited offer.
And all so fresh and well presented - it's turned out to be a real positive here. The best Kapusniak are at our local Plac Na Stawach market, very addictive. Have not tried the soup!
@@planetkrakowoh, I'm going to make a note of it. Thanks for the tip! I remember you talking in an older video about the whole ordeal with the doctors in the States not being able to figure out your gastro issues and those issues disappearing once you moved to Krakow.
Well I'm disappointed I didnt film that as I love mexican food - but if I hadn't posted this vid I wouldn't have found out, so I'm happy about that. Now I'm hungry 😀
Love all the flowers. A great market for everything. Yum!
