I saw them both at The Milwaukee Theatre when she opened for him!!!! Wow great memories!!! I had 5th row, no barricades or fencing....it was a night I will never forget!!!! I wonder what became of her.
I never could understand how such a beautiful voice as Ms Elam's could ultimately be ignored by the industry. Her two albums (well, one and one unreleased) and her movie appearance are as good, if not better than many other more successful artists (think Carrie Underwood, whose whole style, as I understand it, was cribbed wholesale from Ms Elam). Such a shame and I miss her and what music she might have gone on to make. I am, and will always remain, a big UK fan of Ms Katrina Elam. Hope she is well and happy.
