The latest Android version is Android 7.0 Nougat. Samsung already started rolling out Android 7.0 Nougat firmware update for Samsung Galaxy S7 and Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge devices in select countries. Samsung now confirmed that the company will release Android Nougat update for all their other eligible devices in the first half and second half of 2017.
Just have a look at those eligible devices which are going to get Android 7.0 nougat update in the first half of 2017.

We know the list is missing many eligible devices from Samsung but hoping that those will get the update in the second half of 2017.
The list also missing the 2017 Galaxy A series smartphones which released earlier this month. These 2017 Galaxy A series models comes with android 6.0.1 marshmallow out of the box but unfortunately not in the list of nougat update in the first half of 2017.
Some of the other eligible Samsung devices of 2016 will get android nougat update in the second half of 2017.
