Part 1 is about a relationship forming and he says "I won't let you down" and in this part 2 he says "i said i wouldn't let you down but it's like you've changed somehow" so this is about the breakup, amazing writing tbh and beautiful singing as well

Honestly, the story that the two songs tell completely kill me. I can't get through them without crying do to an emotion overload like holy f***k. And its like they both put everything within them into the words and meaning behind them. The two songs truly are a beautiful work of art.

This is remarkable. So beautiful. You can feel how much emotion both of them have while singing this song. I agree, this was also my least favorite song on the self titled, but one of my favorite on the acoustic album. Amazing.
