I'm so excited!!! I really really hope you continue posting podfics! It's a lovely community and you have a really calming voice. If you want a couple recs for other people who make this kind of content just ask!
Audio quality is a bit bumpy in some of the shift and you where a bit mumbly in the begging so I had a bit of a harder time hearing you over some other noise in my vesniety. But otherwise, I think you'll get in your groove in this in no time.
I'm so tired of everyone bashing All Might for being secretive about One for All. Of COURSE he was secretive! He lived for at least a decade constantly on the lookout for a 200 year old boogeyman that had a MASSIVE network of spies and some of his network probably didn't even know they were spies or that they were working for a villain! Even if he wasn't worried about All for One, how many mafia bosses would do anything to get their hands on a quirk that makes them more powerful than the number one hero? How many of those villans have their own spy networks? All Might was paranoid about a threat for years that doesn't go away after the threat is dealt with. Even worse, it turned out that the threat HADN'T been dealt with! Midoriya wasn't at his full potential. He wasn't ready to fight an entire mafia or All for One by himself, and if he was betrayed he could end up in a position where he'd have to! They KNEW there was at least one traitor, and there might be more for all anyone knows, so All Might couldn't risk telling someone else at UA in case they talked about it to someone else and got overheard, or if they accidentally told a traitor. The more people who knew, the riskier it was for Midoriya. Plus if the worst happened and Midoriya was betrayed, All Might couldn't guarantee his safety. He only had three hours with his quirk when he met Midoriya, and even less time throughout the year, and was a chronically ill stick figure whenever his quirk wasn't in use. He might still be strong and experienced, but without One for All, he's just a man. There's no way he'd risk telling someone under those circumstances, especially with his own paranoia cultivated from his teenage years.
Ya but he told a used to be quirkless child 1 that he couldn't be a hero 2 that he couldn't even tell his homeroom teacher (someone that could have greatly helped with quirk control) and 3 he has told a lot of people that didn't actually need to know so he was a huge hypocrite
Using this podfic to help me forget about the fact my child(Ex-bottle baby goat) got attacked this morning.
