I just realized that Izuku probably has ptsd from middle school, and recovery girl might have accidentally sent him into a really long episode

I wish that Aizawa had established where he stood on All Might giving Midoriya his quirk. However, based on clues, he's not actually against All Mights choice. He hates that they tried to cover it up. That Midoriya was being held to the impossible standard of having mastered his quirk when he'd gotten it less than a year before. But Midoriya CAN and SHOULD be allowed to continue his path, just with more openness, (not too much, for safety reasons, but still a little more) and a better working understanding of what exactly they can do to help him. Now everyone's in the loop that needs to be, plus a teacher who can actually teach kids to use quirks, as well as intervene if Izuku goes too far, is going to be a huge help. I like All Might. I really don't think it's his fault he's struggling to teach Midoriya, because he hasn't trained for being a teacher, plus he just always knew how to use his quirk. It'd probably be like an average guy trying to explain every muscle and little movement you use to breathe and how you use them. You just know how. Keeping it a secret under those circumstances is still kind of stupid, but I can forgive that as well, since this quirk has ALWAYS been cloaked in secrecy. All Might just needed someone to figure it out and intervene, and I'm so glad someone did. But I feel that while it is a failure, it's not really anybody's fault. They all did their best, but this was simply uncharted territory.

@@Tamaki_Amajiki-shy_bean it's not the focus of the fic, but it's great. Still ongoing, but there is a prequel that's finished. The story is called "the more things change", the prequel is "consequences have actions".
I actually cried in the prequel, it's pretty heavy. Fair warning. The more things change seems fine for now, didn't cry yet

They get notifications for dislikes!? I accidently hit the dislike when trying to get the to the comments or the description all the time, now I feel awful!

That was such an amazing story. A real rollercoaster of emotions. I get that secrecy is important but I have to agree it didn't make sense for Inko to be kept out of the loop or Aizawa. Especially Aizawa since he's one of the few people that could stop Izuku from going too far with his quirk if necessary, just like he did at the quirk apprehension test, or with him and Eri after beating Chisaki. All in all though I really really enjoyed this story even if its not a cute fluffy wholesome kind of story this time around. 👏👏👏👏👏👏💖
