I watched an interview where Alonso talks about going and finding the biggest juiciest peach he could get his hands on just to make a huge mess of it everywhere infront of Ron Dennis. It was pretty funny he was pretty proud of himself.
Anyone agree :James and Joe seem like someone you would hang out with out of work? And then realize that Nolan is the loveable dorky friend that doesn't quite have the same quirkiness? #NolanisRAD
I just want to say that this series is amazing. I love this format, and all of the other donut media channels and series. I’m not even old enough to drive, but this group of people is incredible, and I love it.
I know I'm a Spaniard, but although I have a soft spot for Alonso, never been a die hard fan of him... That said? I feel this podcast ended being a little bit biased towards Hamilton... I think none of you guys actually watched that 2007 season, but it was a total sh*tshow, and ALO was 100% right about being angry towards HAM and McLaren, and things you missed on the podcast showed that both McLaren, FIA and F1 directors were helping HAM win to an extent that has never been seen again. "memorable moments" like the crane that took HAM back to the track from the gravel trap in the European GP in Nürburgring (leaving other drivers trapped, that were not rejoining the race after a red flag), the China GP where he rookied entering the pit and trapped the car in the gravel (a steward tried to push his car, which AFAIK was not legal) and then cried everywhere, or the full angry kid show he performed at the Brazilian Gp, where he went out roadraging against ALO passing him, or the "gearbox failure" that ended being a human mistake... Is HAM a good driver? Yeah. Did he had the best car of the grid for years making it hard not to win? Yeah. Is he the best driver ever? Nope, and his attitude killed any appreciation most people could have for him... Great podcast as always, but come on, there was way more sauce on that season, and ALO was on his right to act like he did, after being accused and bullied by Ron Dennis and Bernie Ecclestone, no one but you and British media has ever said he is a Baby for declaring that McLaren and FIA wanted a British (and also black) driver to win his rookie year on a British team, ditching the previous year champion...
This was the first full f1 season I watched. I was 12 and mclaren was my favorite team (to this day) and by the end of the first race I was a Lewis Hamilton fan.
To clear things up a bit... Alonso’s first season was with Minardi. He had a fine rookie season considering Minardi were a minnow team. He then spent the next season as Renault’s test driver before making the jump to their driver.
Nolan bud, driver coaching via radio is still banned, that wasn't a past season anomaly.. that's why everyone is trying to figure out what Hamilton saying "my tires are spent" "my tires are gone" and "my tires are loose"... and proceeds to turn the best 2 lap times of his race without boxing.... it's a secret coooooode..... spooky
The odd similarities between Lewis Hamilton and Hamilton is that they both had their own period of absurd success and are both possibly the best ever in their field, at least in modern times. Both are pretty subjective since I'm sure F1 fans don't universally agree that Lewis Hamilton is the GOAT in F1's history, and the same could be said for Broadway fans about Hamilton the musical. Whether or not you like them, they both are probably the first thing you think of when you hear F1 or Broadway.
James, Joe and Nolan. These are some of my requests. I'd like to hear a podcast about The flying Finn, Mika Hakkinen. You guys gotta do it someday. A podcast about Emerson Fittipaldi would be great or a podcast like no other on the rivalry between Prost vs Senna. Michael Schumacher rise in F1 and later Mercedes years.Thanks.
You should do a podcast on Hamilton vs seb and Mercedes' dominance. I bet you guys could turn something as boring as Mercedes winning into something interesting :)
Yo, you guys should do Tim Richmond sometime. Today's his birthday, awesome driver who really kicked off the open wheel to stock car trend, tragically passed away at 34 from AIDS. Definitely a story worth telling.
I think there's a bit more to this story. I know it's just a podcast for entertainment purposes but be more thorough in your research. It's a common pitfall but if you're doing research try to branch out from English-speaking media since they're bound to contain a bias when we're talking about a British driver in a British team in a British dominated motorsport. I'll even help you translate the articles lol. But yeah in the end the penalty in Hungary probably cost Alonso a third consecutive title. I'm glad to see you guys get into F1 but it can be convoluted at time with politics and its hard to compile a clear cut narrative on pretty much anything that happens.
I think you've done Fernando dirty here. Alonso IMO is the grittiest wheel to wheel racer ever. No mention of how close he came to winning Indy either. I like Hamilton, but I love Alonso btw 🙏
After watching Hamilton drive around the entire field, in the rain, I knew who my favorite F1 driver was. He would’ve finished the race a lap ahead of the entire pack, expect that there was a mysterious yellow flag thrown in the last few laps. Always thought the F1 officials did that only to close the gap to keep the race “exciting”🤣 Not sure which season. I know it was 10 possibly 15 years ago.
I'd say the MOST toxic driver pair relationship that deteriorated massively over the course of a couple of seasons was Hamilton v Rosberg... Alonso and Hamilton weren't entirely that bad in terms of the scale compared to Rosberg. Rosberg literally sold his soul for that WDC that one year. That's why he retired immediately after that because having that kind of stress would've destroyed him and he knew it.
Great podcasts on F1 it’s great to know what you think on the other side of the pond!!!after jst watching QatarGP & listening to nothing but ‘great’ & ALO in the same sentence I’m going to throw up!!!can we have a podcast on ALO’s involvement in spygate & crashgate?!would love to know what your thoughts are on this so called ‘great’ & if he should even be aloud a race license…here in the uk everyone seems to think it never happened but I’ve watched F1 since the early 90’s & I do know what happened…would love to know your thoughts
Just realized that this is the first video on the Podcast channel without any of the bois on the thumbnail 😥. Guess I'll just resort to watching the video to see Papa Sykes, Pump-da-Pump Pumphrey, and Juiced Joe.
Big fan of your podcast, but you guys really need to do more research when it comes to F1 episodes. There are just too many inaccuracies and wrong statements.
You guys should get a "like" counter. 1/3 of the way through the video and i think your in triple digits! You SoCal guys have like, your own language. Haha!
Ron Dennis said to Alonso after the Hungarian Grand Prix that his car could be easily slowed down if he didn't let Lewis win. If that isn't favour treatment I don't what is favour treatment anymore...
Dam I wish I could hang out with yall burn one and talk about history along with y'all's wild ass joking I sometimes want to share this with my friends but they would get board with the important shit you know....btw maybe make a drink lol nemesis fuel spinny boy fighting super charger Sammy on a hood?
If it Hamilton was American I would 100% expect him to force a crash with alame-zo and if he didn’t I’d probably dismiss him as a true racer.Shoot guns have fun Mercia baby! Lolol
Lewis Hamilton as a rookie beat Alonso and Alonso never helped Lewis and was mean like blocking him in the pit box so Lewis could not get Pole and changed his own car set ups before races so Lewis Hamilton could not learn experience from the 2X world champion and became Toxic and cost the teams Championship by telling the secrets of Ferrari Data to help Ferrari sue MCLAREN
In what way are the golden state players villainous? KD for the short time he was there was the only time some called them villains. This show needs to read up more on basketball...they keep dropping the ball on their basketball analogies
The reason this podcast is not doing well is that they are using the same explanation format they do in videos, and over use jokes. I want to hear a nice conversation, not just the regular dumb jokes which are fine; but not as much here.
Hi, love your podcasts! Wish they got more attention from the main channel, for how high quality they really are.
Thanks for commenting

As a Bri'ish person, James' pronunciation of "Stevenage Hertfordshire" killed a part of my soul.
Stee-vehn-ej, Hart-furd-shur.

Good stuff guys ive been hoping for a podcast on one of the great f1 rivalries cant wait to listen to this one!
Nolan man, the pronunciations lmao. "Val Terry Boe Tass". Still love the podcasts though guys keep em up 😎
Joe's impression of Hamilton was way better than James's
Here after the crazy Azerbaijan grand prix🙌🏽🙌🏽this Sunday has shaped up to be an F1 day. Thank you guys
And I loved how hamilton messed his restart
the only thing I remember about this is the amazing advert that Hamilton, Alonso and Hakkinen did where they all raced. Hilarious stuff!
I’ve been requesting a Williams up to speed or a past gas for a while. Looks like were getting closer to formula 1 stuff
It’d be cool to hear a podcast for each team in f1
Awesome content guys. Keep hitting us with the F1 history!
I love formula One, and absolutely LOVE Donut media covering F1 stuff. More pods like this please! Sent to my GF to watch this tomorrow.
LOVE the F1 content!! I started getting into F1 because of these 3 little cuties and their pods. Keep the great content coming boi's!! #cutedudes

the lewis voice is SPOT ON, so much politeness in there

That accent dont sound british, sounds more like a south african/Australian hybrid lol
Fernando Alonso's debut in F1 was in 2001 with Minardi. Not 2003 with Renault.
Exactly, and was a test/reserve driver in 2002 for Renault. That '01 Minardi was crap, but damn it looks hot.
Would love to hear one on the TT Racer John McGuinness what a legend! Or a up to speed .

Finally a Past Gas where James didnt cry/nearly cry😂
I'm just going to assume the bone is now part of an ongoing investigation and you can't talk about it.
The handful of people disliking this video are Hamilton Stan's that are upset he biff'd the 2nd to last lap this weekend
No I hate toxic alonso

You guys should do an up to speed on the alpine a110
You guys need to do a past gas on the rivalry between Lewis Hamilton and Nico Rosberg
I just wanna say James impression of Hamilton is not as bad a Nolan makes it seem lol I thought it was pretty good
Lewis "pumphrey" Hamilton sounds like Rocko
*Nemesis Juice sounds like it would go well with a Trippa Snippa.*
