I have a confession. I turn on your videos at night and your stories help me fall asleep. The stories are great but your voice is very calming. Thx
Wow, thank you!
Gives u wet dreams too?
I also look at stories but don't fall asleep..
I like listening to these stories about Thailand, I have lived here for 20 years now and completed my personal Brexit from the UK long before the term was coined! The last story was over quite some period of time and stretched back to eternity - well almost! Very sad for Pang losing her eyesight and just to add that I have personally come across many unfortunate situations, where it's not the proverbial sick buffalo, but a real medical situation that needs some financial support! That is not to say that I, or anyone else should throw money at them, but the Thai hospital care is not up to the standard of the UK and many Thais have the yellow card, which is very basic care! I know it's very hard to see family that you love fall into sickness when you cannot find the money to support them! You can imagine yourself if you have no money and no health insurance, what can you do? Guys, always make sure you have health cover when coming here!
Simply brilliant stories I really enjoyed them. Thank you Peter
I agree on story #2. The guy has the savior complex deep inside he believes he can save her.
He will be taken for everything he has
It's called The White Knight syndrome
I have to agree with the old Israeli; The more you know, the more you realise you don't know. Very important when in Thailand and anywhere else. Thanks a lot for another enjoyable upload, Peter. Cheers!
Peter...if you do not waffle as u put it...if you do not clarify some of the scenarios in the letters you read...it may not be easy for us to grasp the meaning of certain issues. The waffling that you do actually helps in giving life & clarity to the stories & situations that are in the letters you read.Keep it up.
Thanks Alpha 🙏
your story telling is awesome and is getting better all the time. I especially like your comments on the story's and you adding your experiences. thumbs up from me :)
Thank you so much!
Hi Peter. I thought this was your best presentation of the stories. I like the extra comentery between each story. Most people including myself tune in for your opinion and advice so this was great.
Glad you enjoyed it
76 year old monger is impressive
I enjoy learning from experienced gentlement. Your vids are great. No naive nonsense.
Australia is actually pretty boring after you've done the bars and beaches. Bangkok on a rainy night is like living in a Blade Runner film.
Last year I stayed 6mths in Thailand and part of the experience was to drill down on what Thailand women are all about. I lost count of the dates and encounters but essentially, there are 3 levels of women, 1. Educated professional 2. Uneducated retail workers 3. Freelancer/bar girls
Truth be known, while you can make a distinction based on education, the underlying factors are the same. Its all transactional, you're a provider one way or another. So if you're only staying up to a month, then just stick with type 3. If you're permanent then maybe consider 1 or 2 (if you want something ongoing). But imo, make a group of friends to hang out with and go option 3. whenever the need is there. Its definitely cheaper, unproblematic and you have variety. The additional plus is you won't get suckered into their lives and needs.
If I could change anything it would be great if Thai women could communicate as well as Filipina's can ...that makes for much more fun.
Nice bed time stories for adults!!
Thank You for posting! The 2nd story was very good and gave great insight to what is really happening. I agree with you reality will rear its ugly head and no matter what he thought he will get jealous. U gave good advice . Thanks !
Morning Peter. Just enjoyed my usual Sunday morning routine listening to the Thailand Bound stories. Really enjoyed all three - it’s great that you post these “different” perspectives from your subscribers. Cheers and will catch up on the live stream later. 5:39
Many thanks Mike
see how it really unfolds im still learning after 20 years of visiting ,great stories mate spot on, why love one when you an love them all
I love love love Saturday stories, watched for years
Thanks 🙏
I'm from the United States and I love how Thai people make their families so important. Here we put our elderly people in nursing homes and rarely even visit them. Are there nursing homes in Thailand or do they take care of the elderly at home with family?
There are some very good nursing homes in Thailand but they're for westerners people who put their Elder family members here because it's cheaper and the care is better ties tend to look after their own elderly
Great stories again mate,we were coming back for 6 weeks in November, but we might be doing 3 weeks in April, so we'll have to catch up.
Sounds great!
Yes you are right ✅️ another great set of stories!!
To the story number 3, greetings from Perth. I live 25 min drive from Freo
Long Video - yes. But I do appreciate to you and the guys who share the stories. We all can learn from this. 😊
I like your comments between stories, giving them further context. Keep the ‘waffling’.
Yes indeed. I do as well !!!
Great stories! Very elaborate. Your viewers are thinking their stories out pretty well.
Glad you like them!
Good stories mate, cannot wait for this weeks ones!
Spot on.. about acceptance phase precipitating into emotional cesspool. Human after all
Very true
Accurate advice and a great account of the reality.
the 3 stories this week were really great…had a good combo entertainment and information
Since I never had any trouble on my previous trips to Thailand I, too, did not worry about pickpockets until it happened to me on my last trip. My mistake was not returning immediately to the Nana hotel across the street from where I withdrew $600 in U.S. dollars with my right hand clutching the wallet in my pocket. Then I would have put the wallet along with my credit cards in the box taking only what I needed at the time. Losing the money and credit cards hurt but stupid is supposed to hurt. Just a heads up, brothers!
now i know why the 3 day rule is so important
Just arrived in Bangkok yesterday and listening to your stories 😀
Thanks!
Thank you for the Super Chat very generous and I really appreciate it
I like your stories, new listener.....The second story lays out the classic scenario of thai girls and farangs, classic dynamic. Shows even for them getting caught up in the human emotions is real.
For them, this is a business, a survival tool, there is a reason the 3 day rule developed
Great stories
Glad you like them!
Great stories Peter. Keep them coming.
Thanks, will do!
Thanks for the Stories James. I enjoy your banter and additional insights. Don't stop, let the ignore the naysayers. I find the insights valuable.
Thank thank you. Love your stories.
Someday, I would love to tell you of my experience living and marrying a young Filipina bar girl. 🙏. It was one hell of a roller coaster. Many life lessons learned.
And a story others can learn from.
Please do!
I noticed the difference between people being able to speak English, back in 2005 many did,I put it down to translate apps, there's never been a better time to educate yourself or dumb yourself down
Hi Peter loved this week stories especially the 1st story regarding Thailand/Philippines. Although I disagree we the first story that the Philippines is unsafe. I have been to Phils three times and I've never felt unsafe. I have stayed in manila and Cebu and never felt in danger. Also the Philippines isn't as poor as people make out it is. Il be going back in may maybe I have another story for you. Anyway keep up the good work with the stories.
Peter I like how you explain the attachment rule! And the advice, just don't grow emotional feelings, point!
Didn't really understand the last line you wrote Anton
The last story was very interesting.
good on the 76 year old . He might be not to our taste but he has insight . And what he says is very true
Another job well done. 👏
Another good video
I always a pleasure my friend to listen to the stories
Good stories again Peter. Hope all is well , 4 weeks to go until I make the plunge to come to bkk to stay long term as you know , I await my story soon I hope .. 🙏
Best of luck!
Hi Peter, in Chiang Mai right now, got a few stories brewing from previous trips and this one.
Look forward to receiving them
In my book, Peter has now become St. Peter, The Patron Saint of Heaven on Earth.
The last experience I had of Thailand was how much it had changed for the worse, people have brought the west there, previously a girl would stay with you all day and help you with advice about prices, how to access things and the culture, but now it's the western idea of by the hour, something a lot less personal or enjoyable.
great! stuff mate! always informative, intriging and interesting content (two thumbs up) good vlogger! BTW what camera do you use ?
GoPro Hero 10
Thanks Peter. Enjoyable stories as per usual. Take care of y'self mate.
Thanks, you too!
Great stories, if only every bloke would prep on these before going down the rabbit hole.
Almost laughed my arse over the not losing your place un the queue comment 😂
Hi mate great work as always ,I will look forward too health mainly dentistry implants.Stay safe mate Garry downunder
Just listening to prevouse stories whilst tidying,
Gullivers was great when I had been about 10 years ago with green lasers from the ceiling the floor,
Thumping pumping tunes & eye candy too !
Looked a bit rough on the outside during the day !
Interesting!
Peter. Another entertaining Vlog. Heading to BKK tomorrow the 10th. Hopefully we will run into you when you are out and about. Cheers!!!
Sounds great!
Thanks Peter
I thought he was gonna Bang Pang.
Whenever I go to Thailand and I have a story to tell you with pictures, you can absolutely share the pictures with everyone lol
Look forward to
I'm going to Thailand in June, it's going to be fun 🙏❤️😍
Thanks for the video brother ❤️🙏❤️🙏
Hope you enjoy it!
@@ThailandBound Thanks brother i have a girl in Thailand 😍💋
Coffee : ✅
Finished errands : ✅
Listening to Peter : ✅
My Saturday is now complete..🙂
Peter, wise words for newbies nd great analysis
Smart knowledgeable man. Great video
Some sound advice there Peter “drop her, come back to Thailand and have fun with another girl”. 👍
Just a suggestion.. actually it would be really great if you could include your commentary/opinions regarding in between the stories.
I don't understand that because that's what I currently do and I get to the end of a story I talk about it then move on to the next story
A common theme I note is for the bar girls to have married very early and had a child to a Thai husband who has run off due to alcohol and gambling issues.
story 2: you're 51 n she's young n hot. you're not good-looking nor rich. enjoy short-term fun but don't let them fool you that they have feelings for you
Great stuff Peter
Headed to Jomtien & Hua Hin in April. I see Hua Hin is hosting a womens's tennis tourney now
It`s a shame my story must have been too short or not good enough. Unless I missed it somehow. I listen every week.
Hi Matt, it is very rare that I don’t use a story. If I don’t because it’s too short I will always email the author who sent it in. If you haven’t received an email it’s more than likely in the queue to be read out
@@ThailandBound OK. Thanks for responding. I only mentioned it because in the email you estimated October - November and I also thought it possible that your trip to Thailand may have delayed it somehow. Love your channel and I always look forward to Saturdays story time
Peter, when will you be officially a divorced man? I suspect we’ll get different content then? Stay cool my man.
I call BS on the third-story no bar girl leaves and doesn't get paid
Don't know
I had it happen in 2019 but never again, she even cleaned the condo.
Totally agree, once I heard it I just laughed typical young guy talk
@@sealermanz is that what your friend told you
Not true. Over the last approx 7 yrs of going to BKK I have met many girls at bars who I have had aerobics (lol)with in and not paid a cent. Maybe I've gotten lucky, but I can guarantee it happens.
How could a well meaning complement of having blonde hair and blue eyes , in any way be construed as racist ? It seems that woke silliness has found its way into Sin City
Oh dear
@@36handy Yes, I agree
Its up to you... But my charge is lol...
Thailand has a lot of resources and a relatively low birthrate.. High time they did provide social welfare for their poor people.
They are about to launch the digital wallet they will give every person in the country 10,000 baht below a certain income level
Great stories especially the young guys which I can really relate to from when I first visited..
Well as I said the most recent they just keep getting better n better don't they and this also is one of the best yet✌️
You seem to have gone back to your slick freestyle story telling ways which is captivating and not bothered about the odd moaner just back to your own way, brilliant👌🏽
last story - he's so lucky meet two 10s night after night. what are the odds? great story but likely neither of them are 10s. they come around once or twice a year at the very most
But…a 2 at 10 is a 10 at 2!! Hahahahaha
@@dipdo7675 😄
I have looked at a lot of Thailand utube videos. A ten is maybe once in three videos. I seen a lot of Walmart quality women there. Out of shape and not so hot looking. Whenever you see Mac Donald’s and other fast food restaurants in a country, beware of the consequences. Obesity.
The Philippines is perfectly safe. When did you last hear of a tourest getting mugged? Never happens. The armed security doesn't mean it's dangerous. The problem there is corruption but nobody wants to harm tourists. I have heard countless stories of Thai guys ganging up and beating foreigners but never one time in 4 years of living in Phils did I even hear of anything like that.
Peter, another good video. Question. I have an International Driving Permit. Can I drive a Thai friend's car or will I need extra insurance cover?
International Driving Permit is fine to drive here.
Hay Peetah!... Vampire Girl asked me to give you a message from her... she said she can't eat your love...
Great stories Peter and well read as always.I think i might look for a new girlfriend

@@brianstreet5223 😂
Don't be daft Damon you don't need a new girlfriend
Peter, what's with the coif? It makes you look like Chairman Mao. The black Adidas jersey is spot on however. 👍
What's a coif?
@@ThailandBoundDerivative of coiffure in French. I believe the yanks use this expression. It's an expression for hairstyle.
@@jessiemcgee Nah, Yanks don't a Coif from a Croissant. 😂
Hello Peter will you be visiting any of thr islands?
Yes mate
The guy that stated he accepts what his Thia free lancer is doing. Here's the bad truth...men have to feel like they own that poo-nanny and it belongs to them. The thought of other guy polluting their cute little poo-nanny drives then crazy ! Come on, we all know the feeling.
@@stevehatten209 the the guy talking b*******
He dumped Pang as soon as she went blind. Damn that's cold... LOL
The lad in 2nd story sounds in denial. I know you think you're different but your not
When you fall head over heels with a bar girl .it will take a lot to just walk away after 3 days
It's just a business .. wise up .
Non working girls this applies to as well ..
3rd story, where did the uncle have a log cabin? I don’t think there’s a Colorado in Australia! Is it Kalgoorlie?
I think I misread it it must have been Austria not Australia
You're right, it's Australia. But I think the uncle is in the US. So instead of UK-ASIA-AUS he chose UK-US-AUS
Rocky mountains Colorado
One comment is I married an ex freelancer . We are together 13 year now . But last story does not seem right . I would never ever let another man touch my girl ever . If he even tried he would be in a thai hospital .
Remove love from the bar girl Plus money equation, and you will be fine!!!
Hey Peter. How do i find the ' gentlemen's ' clubs in Pattaya and Jomtien mate. My son and a mate are coming over soon. A G'club would be good for my sons mate, as he seems to be a good bloke.
I'm not sure if they have gentleman's clubs in Hua hin however in Pattaya had to Soy boomerang or tree town and a number of other places that you'll find out about when you're there
@@ThailandBound Thanks mate. I'll msg my son.
Or join Graham’s GC crawl every Saturday 3pm starting at Hunnylounge, So Honey.
Hows it goin Peter?
Good mate
Pang was completely blind, but how did she get around without being able to see? Did she have a friend with her to help her get around?
Sorry, I don't have that much detail, but remember, she was not 100% she could still see but not well.
Permanent & completely blind to me sounds that she can't see anything...
Third story is a work of fiction.
I'd love to know where you get your information from? Do you personally know the guy who sent the story in then?
@@ThailandBoundfrom common sense, from knowing about life, from experiences, from holes in story.
She worked in a potato field because she’s bad with money
If i was in Thailand the girls would know i carry a big stick lol
Are all the photos of the pretty girls on the titles pictures of girls they met in thailand? 🤔 I wanna find a thai girl like them 😁
Not only that Pete I would make sure he did jail time
YOU HAVE TO BE VERY HIGH TO BE ABLE TO FOLLOW & UNDERSTAND THE 1ST STORY😂😂
Not sure I understand what you mean
The Thai people as a group make an effort to speak English. In Mexico or Spanish speaking countries (not Spain) they don’t attempt to speak English and that’s super annoying
Not true
In Mexico Colombia etc
Of course they try
They are tourist places
Its spain where they dont care
Only if you're a gringo. I'm Chinese and I can learn to speak in Spanish just fine, amigo.
It is my reason to settle in Thailand rather than Vietnam. And yes Thai speak better English than Spanish.
Is this a joke? Do you learn languages to accommodate all the visitors coming to your country? No one is under any obligation to learn our language to accommodate our visits. The first time I went to south America I ran into 2 people who spoke English in 3 weeks in 3 countries. Since I studied Spanish and Portuguese beforehand, I didn't have any big problem. Thai is a pretty tough language to me, but I'm working on it.
@@rossonero9536KUDOS!!!
Why not give a chance to a woman in your own country
Personally I prefer Asian women are things a lot of guys do
@@ThailandBound fair call
